Summer is Here!

Primary-Dome-Climber.jpgAs a kid, my summers were always lazy and unstructured. My sisters and I were always sent outside in the morning, and the day was spent trying to find activities to do.  My point is, summer is here and it's the perfect time to purchase some Lifetime playground equipment.

One of my kids’ favorite games to play on our playset at home is “Fish Out of Water.” I sit with my eyes closed, and if I think one of my kids are off the playset I yell, “Fish out of water!” If they get caught, we switch and they have to try and catch me.

swingset-blog-pic.jpgKids love to get a break from school during the summer, and we love our Lifetime playset. The best place for imaginative play and exercise is the safety of your own backyard. The great thing about Lifetime is our playsets are made to last. The equipment stands up to the wear and tear of your children. Also, Lifetime has put some great features into the Swingsets so your kids won't be bored, and will want to play outside for hours. They are incredibly fun for the whole family. From our playsets and swing sets, to our teeter-totters and dome climbers, your children will have fun that lasts a lifetime.

Planning a Super Bowl Party!
Super Bowl Sunday is a fine excuse to throw a great party. You and your guests can cheer on a favorite team, laugh together at outrageous Super Bowl commercials and last but not least, catch up while enjoying the all-important food and drink. Follow these tips to plan a fun, casual Super Bowl Party: Make your guest list and invite your friends with a football-themed e-vite. They can RSVP and get maps to your home online. Purchase football-themed party goods and decorations at a party supply store. Pick up napkins, plates, cups, streamers, etc in your teams colors. If you are on a tight budget, concentrate your decorating on the table where the food will be served. Prepare the Chili Boats with Fixins the day before the Super bowl and simply re-heat. These savory chili boats are tempting because guests can customize their ...
Is Your Folding Table Safe?
As consumers, we have become accustomed to looking for safety features when making important purchase decisions, especially when it comes to products like vehicles, power tools, and baby items. But, did you know you should also look for safety features when buying a folding table, too? In my past few blog posts, I've been diving into various topics that help you make more educated folding table purchases. Unfortunately, probably the most overlooked features consumers consider when buying a folding table are safety features. The last thing you need is for your table to collapse while you are using it! So, what should you look for to ensure you are purchasing a safe table? A secure locking mechanism for the table legs. Now, the tricky part is that locking mechanisms will vary depending on the leg style. For rectangular banque...
Will Luck O' the Irish Help You Win A Lifetime Raised Garden Bed?
This giveaway has ended. Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day. And, as you know, tradition is to wear green. But, rather than wear green, we thought it would be more fun to give something green instead. Our Facebook fans had some really great green guesses yesterdayincluding some we didn't even think of! Money, green kayaks, and Earthtone playsets were all great guesses. However, we were thinking something along the less traditional green lines like a Lifetime Raised Garden Bed! Ok, so maybe it's not actually green in color. (Although there is a little green on the cover. Does that count?)But, you can fill a Lifetime Raised Garden Bed with lots of beautiful green vegetables and it can help you live a more "green" lifestyle. Ok, ok, kind of a stretch, we admit. But are you complaining? It's still a free giveaway! And, after all, th...
