Pro Basketball in your Backyard

imageOkay, so the big boys from the pro's won't actually be in your backyard, but you can deck your yard out to look every bit as professional.

First off you're going to want to pick up a 98874 Mammoth In-Ground Basketball System from BuyLifetime.com. This setup is huge (72-inches) and professional quality just like you've likely seen in High Schools, Colleges, and even some professional sports teams.

Once you've got your 98874 Mammoth you need to decide whether or not you you want a half-court or full- court game. The obvious answer if you want a full-court experience is to buy two 98874 Mammoth systems. That may not be an option for you, so why not consider a portable basketball system? With a portable basketball system you can wheel it to where the action is at game time, then wheel it away for storage after the final whistle.

image So now you've got your hoop (or two, if you're going full-court), but you still don't have a "court", it's just a patio with a hoop next to it. Time to pick up a Court Marking Kit. This thing's got everything you need to turn your tired old patio into a real basketball court: snap-line chalk, a court-line roller, and complete instructions for layout; just add paint!

You probably already have a ball, but you can always use one more (or several for making practice more efficient). Once you've got more than one ball, you'll need something to keep them in, like a Ball Bag.

imagePreparation is key. When the big backyard competition goes down, you don't want to be caught with a broken net, or flat ball. Grab a Pump, Needles, Net, and Whistle kit and you're set for most of the major problems that might crop up. It even includes a whistle so your referee can keep order.

image Back in the good ol' days, when darkness fell, the game was over and it was time to go home. Lucky for you the 98874 Mammoth comes ready for the Mammoth Light Kit to keep the game rolling, even after the sun has set.

So what are you waiting for? Get your game in your own back yard — like a pro. Once you're done setting it all up, share some pics with us!
