Tailgating Party Video Tips

In case you've been living under a rock and haven't noticed, it's officially football season again!  Know how I know?  My husband is glued to the TV every weekend and Monday night!  And, he's constantly checking his fantasy football league scores online.  Sigh.  Personally, I just don't understand the fantasy football fascniation/obsession!

Anyway, the start of football season also means the start of tailgating season!  It may still be called a “tailgate” party, but nowadays, most people use more than just a tailgate when it comes to pre-game or pre-race festivities!  In fact, quite often, RVs and buffet tables with canopies have replaced simple tailgates.  Likewise, a rack of ribs or skewer of shrimp has replaced the traditional game day hotdog or burger.  And, surprisingly, a lot of people never even plan on going to the actual game!  They simply attend the tailgate party for the camaraderie and fun.  Yes, people actually tote their generators, televisions, and portable heaters to set up camp for one day in an over-crowded, paved parking lot!

So, I wanted to pass along a quick video to get you psyched and prepped for your own tailgate party.  Check out these tailgating video tips from Jay "The Tailgate Guy" DiEugenio, author of I Got Your Tailgate Party Right Here!  He gives you some cool set up ideas and shows you some ideal tailgating products (including, of course, Lifetime tables and Lifetime folding chairs!).  The video gives you a great view of how easy it is to adjust and fold Lifetime's adjustable height fold-in-half tables, too!

After you watch the video, click on over to Lifetime's Tip and Solutions page for even more tailgating ideas no matter how simple or extravagent your spread may be, including some fan-pleasing recipes that are sure to score big!

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

Family Fun with the Kayaks!
I had a family reunion a couple weeks ago. This is not your typical family reunion with cousins youve never met, let alone seen, before. My extended family is very close-knit and (I hope its safe to say) we all look forward to the DFR (aka Dixon Family Reunion) every year, truly. My dad and his two siblings take turns planning it each year. This year was my Uncle Brents turn, so we went to Pineview Dam near Huntsville, Utah. I have about 20 cousins in the age range of 28-35. They all have spouses and, on average, 4 kids each; so our family is pushing close to 60 people. The kids range from brand new babies to 16 years old. As you know, Lifetime acquired the kayak company, Dragonfly Innovation, back in February. I bought two of the blueCalypso kayaks and decided Id take them up to the lake and see what kind of reaction they g...
Questions to Ask Yourself Before Buying A Folding Table
When purchasing a folding table, you may think that all you need is a basic structure with a flat surface, four legs, and the ability to fold flat. In some cases, you may be right, right? I think about tables and chairs a lot. Every day I talk with our Lifetime Tables and Chairs team about corner impact, leg locking mechanisms, channeling, leg deployment, and lots of other details that will make you stop reading this. All this knowledge has made me a firm believer that a very durable table with safety and convenience features will pay off in the long run. Do you remember the "old" folding tables? Let me jog your memory-- they were wooden, heavy, and clumsy. I remember carrying heavy tables made of wood or metal, with sharp metal edges below the table top that cutmy fingers. If you were alive in the 1990's and earlierand I a...
New Lifetime Dual Compost Tumbler Now Available
With Spring just around the corner, its time to start thinking about your garden. Here in Utah, it has felt like Spring all winter long. We have had a very mild winter. I fear, however, there is more snow to come which means the tulips and daffodils are in for a rude awaking. Its a good time to start building up your compost reserves to feed those plants that will feed you this summer. Lifetime is still very much in the composter business and we have had tremendous success with our composters. I feel we have helped to make another step in "greening up" our planet with the vast amounts of Lifetime composters that are composting away in yards all over the world. I'm excited to share with you that because of the success of our composters, we have developed a new version based on feedback from ourcustomers! As you may know, a k...
