Pro Basketball in your Backyard

Pro Basketball in your Backyard

Pro Basketball in your Backyard

imageOkay, so the big boys from the pro's won't actually be in your backyard, but you can deck your yard out to look every bit as professional.

First off you're going to want to pick up a 98874 Mammoth In-Ground Basketball System from BuyLifetime.com. This setup is huge (72-inches) and professional quality just like you've likely seen in High Schools, Colleges, and even some professional sports teams.

Once you've got your 98874 Mammoth you need to decide whether or not you you want a half-court or full- court game. The obvious answer if you want a full-court experience is to buy two 98874 Mammoth systems. That may not be an option for you, so why not consider a portable basketball system? With a portable basketball system you can wheel it to where the action is at game time, then wheel it away for storage after the final whistle.

image So now you've got your hoop (or two, if you're going full-court), but you still don't have a "court", it's just a patio with a hoop next to it. Time to pick up a Court Marking Kit. This thing's got everything you need to turn your tired old patio into a real basketball court: snap-line chalk, a court-line roller, and complete instructions for layout; just add paint!

You probably already have a ball, but you can always use one more (or several for making practice more efficient). Once you've got more than one ball, you'll need something to keep them in, like a Ball Bag.

imagePreparation is key. When the big backyard competition goes down, you don't want to be caught with a broken net, or flat ball. Grab a Pump, Needles, Net, and Whistle kit and you're set for most of the major problems that might crop up. It even includes a whistle so your referee can keep order.

image Back in the good ol' days, when darkness fell, the game was over and it was time to go home. Lucky for you the 98874 Mammoth comes ready for the Mammoth Light Kit to keep the game rolling, even after the sun has set.

So what are you waiting for? Get your game in your own back yard — like a pro. Once you're done setting it all up, share some pics with us!

A 50 Year Achievement
The Mercedes-Benz dealership in Salt Lake City celebrated its fifty year anniversary earlier this month. My wife, Jenny was asked to assist with this event. The celebration was an important event for not only the local dealership, but to Mercedes-Benz as well.In the automobile business it is uncommon for one dealership with the original franchise owner to stay in business with the same car franchise for over fifty years. The award presentation featured a beautifully designed trophy, sculpted with metal in the form of a classic Mercedes-Benz automobile. After the presentation, a lunch was served for those in attendance. Jenny couldnt help but notice that the tables and chairs that were set up for the event were of course made by Lifetime. They used Lifetime 6 foot banquet tables covered with white linens and floral arrangeme...

Since its beginning in 1962, Christmas Village in Ogden, Utah has grown to an extraordinary seasonal attraction. Each year thousands of tourists and citizens come to view the Christmas lights and cottages, drawing visitors from great distances as well as local families who have made it part of their holiday tradition. We're Giving Away $700 in Lifetime Store Gift Certificates!
This giveaway has ended. This week, we asked fans on our Facebook page what product they would like us to giveaway for our final monthly giveaway of 2011. It turns out, when you make so many great products, you get many great answers! The majority of you wanted us to giveaway a shed. But, picnic tables, swingsets, raised garden beds, and tables and chairs were also voted as favorites. Oh, decisions, decisions. Sigh. Know what? Since it's the Christmas season and many of you have products from Lifetime on your list that you want to give (either to someone else or just yourself), I think it would be much more fun to give away gift certificates to the Lifetime Store so YOU can pick whatever product (or maybe even more than one) you want!
