Customer Appreciation

This week I wanted to post some feedback and actual photos we've received from one of our shed customers.

Nancy of Jackson Michigan wrote in to tell us about her new Lifetime shed. She writes:

"After shopping around for the size and quality we wanted, we decided on an 8' wide x 12.5' long Lifetime shed. The deciding factor was the Lifetime name, since their quality and reputation exceeded the others, by far.

"We were amazed by the step-by-step complete instructions for assembly. Since we are both not handy people, this really helped us. Our lawn tractor fits into the shed with plenty of extra room for garden tools. It is now very organized and efficient.

We have another smaller shed we plan on replacing next year. There will be no shopping around since we already know it definitely will be another Lifetime shed. THANKS Lifetime, for a great product!!!!"

Thanks for sharing your story Nancy. I love getting feedback from customers, and I realize that a large part of my job here at Lifetime is to be the voice of the customer with our product developers and other departments in the company. Paying attention to our customers is what has made Lifetime successful.

That’s all for this week. Now get out there and enjoy the nice fall weather.

Lifetime Brands
Earlier this year, we bought a GMC Acadia. I LOVE it! It was the first crossover SUV of its kind and now several other automakers have followed suit. The Acadia is an SUV on the outside with the seating configuration of a mini-van on the inside. Perfect for those of us who like the idea of a mini-van, but not all the psychological baggage that comes along with them! Over the past few months, as friends see our vehicle they will often say comments like, This reminds me a lot of a Saturn Outlook. Or, Is this like a Saturn Outlook? Well, you know why? They are the same car! GMowns both the GMC andSaturn brand and, consequently, the Acadia and Outlook bascially come off the same production line. (And, the Buick Enclave too!). For various marketing and sales strategies, companies often make the same product with slight variations...

Judging the Weber School District Science Fair
About a week ago, six of our Lifetime employees (mostly Engineers and Information Technicians) volunteered to help judge the Weber School District Science Fair. The two-day fair took place at Weber State University with more than 700 students ranging from sixth to twelfth grade. Judges reviewed the exhibits and interviewed students on their use of scientific thought, methods, visual appearance and creativity.Categories included: Behavioral Studies, Botany, Chemistry, Earth Space, Energy Transportation, Engineering Computer Science, Environmental, Medicine Health, Microbiology, Physics Math and Zoology. The fair brought in an average of 200 to 300 people which included parents, college students and the general public. Each of the judges had fun learning about the different subjects from how safe your drinking water is t...
