Lifetime at the Lake House

Lifetime at the Lake House

Lifetime at the Lake House

My parents recently bought a vacation house at Lake Erie and I saw it for the first time when I went home to Ohio last month.  (Boy, good thing I made the trip to Ohio because it’s given me tons to blog about!) I was happy to see they had furnished several areas of the house with Lifetime products.  (I taught them well!)  My parents actually became Sam’s Club members for the first time just so they could buy some Lifetime products for their new house since Sam’s Club has such a large selection.

Remember my last post and how I was talking about my parents still having a heavy picnic table at home that they actually move with a lawn mower?  Well, apparently, it IS possible to teach an old dog new tricks! My parents purchased a Lifetime 8-foot picnic table for their patio at their lake house.   Hip-hip, hooray!

Since their backyard has a view of the lake, they wanted plenty of outdoor eating options for neighbors, grandkids etc. So, they also bought a Lifetime 6-foot banquet table and six chairs that they can set up outside or inside.  When the banquet table isn’t needed outside, they just keep it set up in the basement for crafts, games, storage, etc…and really just to kind of fill the empty basement!

Oh, but wait, that’s not all!  When I first got to their new house, my mom was waiting on a little kitchen cart to arrive that she had ordered to fill a corner where she planned to keep jars of snacks for the grandkids.  In the meantime though, she was using her Lifetime Personal Table to hold the snacks.  What a perfect temporary fix! (Oops, I forgot to take a picture.)

And, Mom had a 4’x 2’ fold-in-half adjustable height table set up in her sewing room with her sewing machine on it.  It was a great fit for the small room and, if they need it, they can always take it outside for even more eating or serving space.

It was great to see that even though I’m no longer a Lifetime employee, Mom and Dad still purchased numerous Lifetime products because of their quality, versatility, and convenience.  Hmmm, now that I take a tally, I think my parents officially now own more Lifetime products than I do.  Way to go, Mom & Dad!

Happy Earth Day!
It's time once again to celebrate ourwonderousEarth. Though Earth Day began as a grass-roots movement 38 years ago to educate people about pollution, conservation and to draw the government's attention, it has changed over the years. Today, we all have concerns like climate change and diminishing resources fresh on our minds. It seems like everyone's makingsome small changes, or just being a little more aware.I've made a consious effort to buy moreorganic food, switching my light bulbs to compact florescents (CFLs), and turning off unused electronics. But I'd like to do more this Earth Day, so I've been searching for ideas. Here are some of the best one's I've found...afew of them utilize ourLifetime Products: 1- Plant a tree in your back yard: Besides being a fun activity for your family, planting trees help to lower green...
Where Do You Store Your Lifetime Tables & Chairs?
I know, I know. It's been forever since I last blogged, but I'm back! Back from where? Oh, just the usual, life in general...family visits, taking the kids to school and soccer, cleaning house, whatever. Although, I did squeeze in a quick vacation to Cancun which was soooo relaxing and fun!! Anyway, to those of you who have missed my regular weekly posts (thanks, Mom), your wait is over! :) So, the other day when I was getting out my vacuum cleaner, I happened to see my Lifetime folding chairs and began to wonder. (Yes, Im infamous for random association-thinkingyou know, where one thought leads to another to another to another.) Anyway, my first thought was that Lifetime folding chairs are super comfortable. But, geez, compared to other cheap, flimsyfolding chairs, they sure are big. (Obviously, this is a great feature whe...
New Lifetime Tent Trailer - Perfect for Work and Play
I am very excited about Lifetimes new Tent Trailer. Not so much because it is a tent trailer (although that part is very cool especially for the camping family) but I am excited because of its diversity. After years of looking and deciding, my wife and I purchased our first home this year. We purchased the home brand new and, let me tell you, there is a lot of yard work to be done. We have tons to do to get the yard looking its best. We have decided to add decorative rock, as well as sprinklers and sod. This new Lifetime Tent Trailer will be perfect to haul them all. Trees and shrubbery are a must. We havent figured out what kind of trees we want to get, but its nice to know I have away to pick them up from the nursery when we decide. Wait a minute. Hauling rock, sod, and trees in our tent trailer? Yes! See, the new Lifetim...
