Day Care.jpgWow! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only one week away!? It seems like it has come super fast!

Thank you for all of the responses! We had over a hundred!!! Here are a here are a few of my favorite:

“These are so adorable!  Thank you for thinking outside the box and producing a child's chair that is useful, fun, and practical!” – Shara H.

“We love the durability of our other Lifetime products and love that there is now an option for a kids table and chairs that will stand up to the messes and rough housing of our three little kids. The chairs look cool and super comfortable too!” –Melarie W.

“So COOL!” – Clint P.

“I am in love with the new kid's table and chairs! I especially love the blue and green. I've been looking for the perfect table and chairs set for my kids for Christmas, and this is it! I'm thrilled these came out in time for me not to waste my money on something less awesome. I love Lifetime Products!” – Katie F.

“Where has this been all my life?  That is way cool.  Perfect in so many ways.” – Suzanne B.

“I have 5 kids! This table is so stinkin’ cute!! It is a perfect size for my younger kids. My 5 year old is always wanting to do projects at the kitchen or dining table. It is not fun to always keep those clean. I would love to have this cute perfect sized table for her!!” Karrie S.

"Oh my biggest heck! Love love love. I'm a big fan of you guys and my family owns lots of your products! I would love to add this to the collection. It is darling!" - Keri G.

Here at Lifetime, we are just as excited about this set. I myself have been to multiple Costco locations as well.

Backyards Inc. Changes Name to Lifetime Store
Things are starting to look a little different along the Wasatch Front in Utah, and I'm not just talking about the fresh layers of snow on the mountains. We are excited to tell you that Backyards Inc., the Lifetime factory retail store, is changing its name to "Lifetime Store". Start watching for the name change to take place over the course of the next four months with updates to all outdoor signage to be completed by February 2011. For those of you who don't live in Utah, you'll see a change, too. Our online store will soon share the Lifetime Store name to give customers a simpler shopping experience. So why did we make this change? Most importantly, for you - our customers! Even though Backyards Inc. has always been owned by Lifetime, there was no easy way for our customers to instantly recognize Backyards Inc. as Lifeti...
Angled or Straight Basketball Poles?
On occasion, I have been asked whether I prefer a straight or an angled pole when selecting a portable basketball system. At first glance, an angled pole may appear to have performance or safety advantages, but when looked at from an engineers perspective, some deeper insights can be gained. I sat down with one of Lifetimes head engineers to discuss why Lifetime chooses to use straight basketball poles on our systems. Ed has been an engineer at Lifetime Products since 1993 and has played a large role in developing our basketball systems over the years. Here are some of his insights on angled vs. straight basketball systems. Are basketball systems with an angled pole less likely to tip over than ones with a vertical pole? The stability of a portable system has to do with the weight of the backboard and the weight of the ba...
Summer is Here!
As a kid, my summers were always lazy and unstructured. My sisters and I were always sent outside in the morning, and the day was spent trying to find activities to do. My point is, summer is here and it's the perfect time to purchase some Lifetime playground equipment. One of my kids favorite games to play on our playset at home is Fish Out of Water. I sit with my eyes closed, and if I think one of my kids are off the playset I yell, Fish out of water! If they get caught, we switch and they have to try and catch me. Kids love to get a break from school during the summer, and we love our Lifetime playset. The best place for imaginative play and exercise is the safety of your own backyard. The great thing about Lifetime is our playsets are made to last. The equipment stands up to the wear and tear of your children. Also, Lif...
