The award highlights up-and-coming leaders and entrepreneurs who have created a ground-breaking technology or an executive who has uniquely brought something more to their position.

“I’m honored to be recognized for this award,” said Slagle. “I’m passionate about working hard to accomplish goals and am grateful to work for a company who cares so much for its employees.”

Fold-up Trailer-- Extreme Dad's Day Gift
For me, it's often hard to shop for dad around Father's Day. Every dad's different, and mine is especially content with what he has. As he puts it, he "gets along just fine"... which is pretty annoying when Father's Day rolls around. Looks like MomGadget.com is out to fix this problem. The blog about gadgets and gizmos that make mom's life easier presents options for almost every type of dad and any situation. Whether you're on a budget, going in on a special gift, or if you have a little extra to spend, you should see something he'd like in their Father's Day of posts. Included in one post is the Lifetime Fold-up Utility Trailer: "What dad doesnt have stuff they like to haul? Whether its to haul something they just bought at Home Depot or just moving things from point A to point B. Men like to move stuff! The Fold-Up U...
Sit Back and Relax in a New Lifetime Adirondack Chair
Last month, Katie shared with you that we have lots of new products on the horizon. I'm happy to tell you that one of these new products is a Lawn Garden product that is now available a Lifetime Adirondack Chair! If you're still wondering what to get Dad for Father's Day, this is a perfect gift to give your Dad or husband to help him relax this summer in his backyard, on the front porch, or on the beach with his feet in the sand. (It's also good for moms too, so don't feel guilty about purchasing a matching chair for her!)What will Dad love about the new Lifetime Adirondack Chair? Lots of things, starting with the way it looks. It's manly - no fluffy cushions or dainty wicker. This is a sip-your-beverage and admire-your-lawn-work kind of chair. (But, as you can see, it still hasa stylish look women like, too.) At first glance...
Compost your clippings! Garbage Stinks. Compost Doesn’t.
I had the very unpleasant experience recently of dumping excess lawn clippings directly into my garbage can. The can set out in the sun for a few days before I brought it into the garage. A few days later, WHOA! The can smelled like a skunk had stepped in dog doo-doo, rolled around in raw sewage, and then died in there. I was reminded once again, that lawn clippings should not go directly into the garbage can! I have a composter and do a fair amount of composting. To which, I add lawn clippings when I have brown material to balance it out. The ratio is 1 part green: 20 parts brown. I am often asked by people who dont compost if the compost stinks. The answer is no. That sounds strange because of the waste product that goes into making good compost, but its true. If the proportions of green and b...
