I Love My New Garden Caddy

I Love My New Garden Caddy

Gone are the days of having to load up my wheelbarrow or other container with tools from the shed, only to arrive at the spot in my yard I am working on and not have what I need. You know how it is—you end up spending half of your time in the yard going back and forth to the shed to get what you forgot the first time. That is, providing you can find it in the shed. Because if you’re like me, you haven’t organized your tools very well, either.

Garden Caddy.jpgI used to go back and forth, getting the stuff I needed before I was able to get to work. And when I was working I would inevitably set down one tool somewhere to use another, and then forget where I put the first tool. On one occasion, not exaggerating here, I was working with a rake. Two different times after I had laid the rake down, I stepped on it and had it swing up to hit me in the face. Yep, happened twice during the same project.

With the Lifetime Garden Caddy, you face is safe, and you can save your energy for actually accomplishing something in your garden rather than going back and forth to your shed. The Lifetime Garden Caddy holds your tools in a neat and convenient way. The caddy has wheels that allow you to take all the tools you are going to need for a project with you at the same time. Once you have used the tool, you put it back into its spot on the caddy, so you don’t lose it in the grass or dirt, or leave it out by mistake for the sprinklers to rust. The caddy goes with you and so do your tools. When you are done, and tired from all of the productivity in your garden, you don’t have to worry about reorganizing your tools, or just throwing them, in the shed. Just wheel the caddy into the shed and they are ready to go for the next project.

The Lifetime Garden Caddy also has a place to hold your five-gallon bucket so everything you need is kept neatly in one spot.

Check out the Lifetime Garden Caddy. You can find it at Sam’s Club.

Your tools, and your face, will thank you for it!

Ever run out of ideas for fun activities to do with your kids? Does your child enjoy craft projects but you never seem to have the right supplies to make something really cool? Well, take a trip to your local home improvement store and you're in for a treat! Our local Lowe's offers Build and Grow clinics for kids. Lowe's supplies all the materials and directions to assemble a simple woodworking project with your kids. They even give you a kid-sized Lowe's apron and real safety goggles...all for free! What a great deal! My 5-year-old son is really starting to get into "projects" and enjoys using his Daddy's tools to build things. So, a few weeks ago, we decided to try a Lowe's Build and Grow clinic. Lesson #1... we now know that these classes fill up FAST! We assumed we could just show up that day and we'd be able to partici...

The perfect Mother's Day gift: Kayak Adventures!
Last year I wanted to come up with something original for a Mothers Day gift. I didnt want to go with the traditional flowers, birdhouses, or candy. Showing her how much she means to me and how much I appreciate everything she does is really important. I racked my brain for days trying to come up with something creative, something different and something that could be enjoyed for more than just one day a year. What would surprise her? What could I do that she wouldnt expect? Then it hit me! A kayak!! When Mothers Day arrived she was never more excited! Instantly she began listing off all the places she could go and how jealous all her friends would be. I think the thing she liked the most was that now we could go out kayaking together. Not only did this give her a new activity, but it gave her a fun way to hang out with her ...
