Relax This Summer!

Adirondack Chair.JPGSo the first few weeks of Spring are fun to work in the yard…then, reality hits, and I remember how yard work can be a lot of hard work! One of my favorite products we sell is our Adirondack chair.

This chair is perfect for chillin’ after pulling weeds and planting flowers. Made from Polystyrene – a big word for a type of plastic that is made to look and feel like wood – this chair is great looking! It is low to the ground and has a slight recline so it’s nice and comfortable. The wood-like material is stain resistant, and holds up well in the sun. It looks like wooden furniture, but you won’t have to stain it every year.

You can find our Adirondack chairs at your local Costco.

A word of caution…when you tell your spouse you’ll be out weeding, don’t let her find you sleeping in your Adirondack chair…been there, done that, and the outcome wasn’t so good.

Happy gardening!

Winner Picked Most Popular Table
Congrats to our May contest winner - Don Y. of Valley Center, California. This month, we let YOU pick the prize you wanted to win! All our readers had to do was tell us which Lifetime table they wanted and why, andone random winner received the table of his/her choice! Thanks to everyone who entered and shared their reasons for wanting/needing a Lifetime table. Our winner Don picked a 6 Lifetime picnic table with umbrella hole- which was also the most popular Lifetime table requested during this contest! Summer is almost here and people obviously are gearing up for outdoor activities and picnics because the second most popular table was the Lifetime 44 Round Picnic Table with Swing-Out Benches, while the Lifetime Kids Picnic table was the third most requested table. All of these picnic tables are available for purchase in ou...
Another Lifetime Composter Survives a Bear Attack!
Here's the deal. We're always telling you how tough our products are. Sometimes we use fancy industry lingo like "double-wall high density polyethylene panels" or "exceeds BIFMA standards". I'll be the first to admit, that can get more than a little boring -- even for me. It's much more interesting and believable to hear real customer experiences. Know what? We get tired of doing all the talking so we love hearing your stories about our products. In fact, even we've been amazed with some of the recent "tough" stories our customers have shared with us.Just this week, Michelle and Wayne T. of Granby, MA shared some fantastic photos of their Lifetime 65-Gallon Composter that survived a bear attack! Yes, I said BEAR. Yikes! "My wife and I recently purchased one of your compost tumblers. After about 2 weeks we woke up to find th...
Corporate Semi-Annual Meeting Reveals Growth and Changes
This summers semi-annual company meeting was a brand new experience for me. Over past years here at Lifetime, all employees have had the opportunity to hear about the progress and state of the company. And since Lifetime is a privately-owned company, its important that the employees are directly involved! What was amazing was the opening part of the meeting where we saw how the company has been featured and showcased in public relations this year. From a spotlight on The Price is Right where our kayaks were a showcase prize, to thelocalnews where the work done in our metals and plastics factories took the front stage, to our service project at the Utah State University Botanical Center, and so much more. I could see that we definitely made waves this year! And these features on Lifetime are only the beginning. After hearing a...
