First 10 Customers Get 40% Off The New Lifetime Netball System!

Be one of the first 10 customers to purchase the new Lifetime Netball system on buylifetime.com and get 40% off the regular price! (One system per customer.)  Lifetime Products has added the unique game of Netball to its line up of basketball hoops so don't miss this introductory special. The Netball system is not like any other basketball hoop. It is designed with a portable 10 gallon base, a telescoping pole that adjusts from 7.5 to 10 ft, and a 15" rim, but unlike other basketball goals, it does not have a backboard. That makes it much more challenging to get the ball in the net! 1111netball.jpg

The game of Netball was derived from early versions of basketball. Some of the differences between the rules of basketball and netball are:

BBALL: 2 teams of 5 vs 5
NETBALL: 2 teams of 7 vs 7

BBALL: Players are free to go where they want on the court
NETBALL: Players are assigned to specific positions, which define their roles within the team and
restrict their movement to certain areas of the court.

BBALL: A player on offense has a 24 second shot clock in which to shoot the ball and can hold
the ball for the entire 24 seconds if he chooses.
NETBALL: A player on offense has 3 seconds to either pass the ball to a teammate or shoot the
ball.

BBALL: A standard game consists of four 12 minute quarters
NETBALL:  A standard game is 60 minutes long

Like Legwarmers and Mariah Carey, Recession Gardens Are Making A Comeback
I first learned about victory gardens at a young age, thanks to the stories I read about Molly McIntire, a fictional character who grew up during World War II. Molly and her family grew their own vegetables since crops grown by farmers were needed for the American troops. Well, once the war ended, victory gardens took a back seat to the fluorescent lights of the grocery superstore. With our nations current financial situation though, Im not surprised to see victory gardensor recession gardens, as theyre known these daysmaking a comeback.I recently read that an estimated 43 million American households will be planting their own recession gardens this year. Forty-three million! It just goes to show that lots of people across the nation are catching on to this trendand with savings of up to $5,000 on groceries a year, no wonder ...
Fall Yard Sale Tips
Ive been to a lot of yard sales. At a recent one, I bought a 1921 replica Coca-Cola serving tray and made arrangements with a seller to pick up a refinished oak tool chest that I plan to use as a coffee table. After years of experience buying and selling, Ive also brought home what I call my three Ps for a successful yard sale: Planning, Presentation, and Pricing. Planning is crucial. If you sell it, they will come, right? Wrong. Run a classified ad in your local newspaper. Be sure to include popular and big-ticket items as well as the date, time, and location of your sale. Post a free listing at Craigslist.org also. Then make signs to put up at the nearest major intersections and other strategic spots to direct people to your sale. (Check with your local municipality or homeowners association first to make sure its okay to...
Lt. Gov. Bell Congratulates Lifetime on 25 Years!
We blew out the candles so it must be official Lifetime is 25 years old! As you know, we're celebrating all year long with sales, giveaways, and more. And, last Monday, we held a special 25 Year Anniversary Event at our factory headquarters in the Clearfield Freeport Center.Personally, I'm still amazed at how quickly we transformed a factory assembly line warehouse that was running on Friday into a trendy industrial meeting facility for the event on Monday. The place was decked out with product displays and live jazz music!Check out the pictures, pretty cool, huh? And, yes, it was back to an assembly line by Tuesday! Nearly 400 people attended our celebration, including Lifetime's partners, suppliers, and local community leaders. Our guests of honor included Utah Lt. Gov. Greg Bell and Clearfield City Mayor Don Wood. We were...
