Garden_Caddy.jpgThis giveaway had ended. Spring is finally starting to show up and give us hope for a warmer world! It's funny how by late Fall I am tired of yard work, but by Spring, I am itching to get out there and pull some weeds. Like for many of you, it seems to me that the yard projects never end. This season, we at Lifetime are excited to announce another innovative product to help you get those yard chores done. The Lifetime Garden Caddy.

Here is how my typical time working in the yard is spent: I go to my Lifetime Shed and pull out my Lifetime Wheel Barrow. Then I climb, fall, and otherwise search for the tools I am going to need for my project throughout my shed. To carry them all to the worksite I put them in my wheel barrow usually losing the shovel or other tool along the way. Finally ready to work, I empty out the tools from the wheel barrow to find I have forgotten something back at the shed and have to go back and get it. While working, I step on the rake a few times which is lying on the ground and get smacked in the face (think cartoon reality). Once my job is finished, I have to load up all my tools again and haul them back to the shed to find random places to put them. This, after I am hot and tired from the work just accomplished. Oh, and by the way, I find out a few days later after the sprinklers have been on, I left a pair of clippers lying in the grass which are now starting to rust. Sound familiar?!?

Well, no more! Lifetime has come up with yet another innovation to help you get more done quickly and effectively so you can enjoy your yard, not just work in it. The Lifetime Garden Caddy is designed to hold up to 7 long handled tools as well as smaller tools and gloves all in one convientent easy-to-take-with-you place. The Lifetime Garden Caddy organizes your tools so they are always ready to use. The caddy is sturdy enough to pull through the grass to your worksite so you’ll know you have all the tools you need together in one place. It even has a 5-gallon bucket holder so you have a place to put all those weeds you are pulling.

Once you’ve finished with a tool, just put it back in its slot on the caddy and you won't have to move it again - or leave it lying in the grass. The Lifetime Garden caddy then easily wheels back to your shed to keep your tools organized for the next use. Done and done.

Park It in the Garage
Small gatherings of family and friends are not uncommon at our home. My wife really likes to entertain guests. However, inviting about 100 of our closest relatives during the heat of the day was a little bit of a stretch for our home, so I came up with a solution . . . overflow seating in the garage! Heres what happened: A few weeks ago, we decided to celebrate the birth of our 2 month old baby girl. We agreed to hold a casual party to celebrate this occasion with a few of our closest relatives. After the invite list ballooned to around 100 people, I realized my wifes definition of a few was much different than mine. It wasnt long before I realized the seating capacity of our home would not accommodate her expanding invite list.Due to time constraints, the only time the party could be held was in the middle of the afternoon....
Bad News, Good News
Well, just when we think we have something figured out, plans always change. When we bought our house, we paid a little extra for our lot because of the abundance of trees. We were thrilled to find such a beautiful lot because the trees give us complete privacy from our neighbors, provide a gorgeous view from our family room and kitchen windows, and make for a unique play area for the kids. Unfortunately, over this past weekend, one of the tallest trees in our yard just up and died. No clue why. We happened to be playing with the kids in the back yard and noticed all the leaves on the Mountain Laurel treeare completely brown…which they aren’t supposed to be even though it’s autumn. Obviously, weare sad to loose such a big tree and we are hoping it’s not a disease that may spread to our other trees. But, on the bright side… w...
On the Drive Home
After writing my last post about my first encounter with a Lifetime Basketball System, I started thinking about how many other people probably had a similar experience as mine. In fact, on my drive home from work last week, I decided to count how many basketball systems there were, and how many of them were from Lifetime. In my short 10 miles from work to home, I counted 60 basketball hoops along my path, and out of those, close to 80% of them were made by Lifetime! So Im guessing that many have had an experience similar to mine. If you do, Id love to hear about it! In fact, while looking for the Jordan vs. Bird commercial a couple of weeks ago, I ran across video of some guys creating some pretty cool memories of their own on a Lifetime System. Check them out here: Backyard Basketball
