Top 5 Holiday Uses for a Lifetime Table

We all have so many events and things going on during the holidays, don’t we? I know for myself I have the annual White Elephant gift party or the always-entertaining Ugly Sweater Party, a Christmas Eve Party, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and the list goes on. But it’s not just about the parties either.  It’s the homemade decorations, the dinnuntitled.bmpers, and everything else that goes on that fills up our time. So, in the spirit of the holidays and in an attempt to help give you ideas on how Lifetime can make this year a little easier, here are the top 5 ways you can use a Lifetime Folding Table during the holidays:

1- Extra Dinner Seating Room

If you’re like me, you’ve got not just your family, but parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and the whole clan coming over for a special dinner.  But you probably don’t have a table to seat forty, or three dining tables just laying around. So, we’ve made it easy with a variety of tables ready to pull out for that extra room. Our Fold-In-Half tables, Folding Tables, and even our matching folding chairs make dinner more comfortable.

2- Buffet Table

Or, you could be going with a pot-luck theme. Bring your own holiday dessert!  Lifetime tables are easy to store, simple to set-up, and some are even adjustable to give you any required height for a laid-back party with family and friends.  I know when I was growing up, we always had a hard time putting the spread out on a counter, taking up that valuable space, but Lifetime tables make it easier for you and your guests!

3-  Holiday Crafts

I’m really into making my own decorations.  And I’m grateful that I have the time to do so! I like making my own wreaths, ornaments, and table decorations.  But, I won’t lie … sometimes having all that crafty stuff laying around the floor or kitchen table can be frustrating with people who share your home.  Lifetime tables can be easily set up, taking your crafts off the floor and away from eating areas, giving you a space just to work on those holiday projects!

4- Game Table

Most years around Christmas time, my family likes to stay in during the cold weather.  And almost every year, we pull out a puzzle.  And most years … we’d set it up on our kitchen table. Trying to eat dinner while a large 2,000 piece puzzle rested on the table was not easy!  Having a Lifetime square table for games or puzzles takes all those problems off … the table!

5- Christmas Display

Whether you’ve collected Christmas Village pieces, nativity scenes, figurines, nutcrackers, or something else, what better way to display them than by giving them their own Lifetime table!

These are only five, but I know there are LOTS more!  If you have a favorite use for your Lifetime Table during the holidays, please share.  Leave us a comment on this blog post or even on our Facebook page.  No matter the use, Lifetime tables can make any holiday event easier!  And, we want to make it easy for you to own your own Lifetime table for this holiday season... so we are giving away a Lifetime 6-Foot Adjustable Height Table to five lucky winners!  Simply read our giveaway blog post from earlier this week to learn how to enter.  Happy Holidays!

Position at Lifetime Products: Product Marketing Administrator. I am the copywriter and administrator for the marketing department—writing copy for ads, scripts for videos, editing copy, and just about anything else that’s needed of me.  I get to write and edit for a living…it’s pretty much a dream come true!

How long at Lifetime Products: Since May 2012

Topics I blog about: Lifestyle and News

Favorite products from Lifetime: I love being outdoors!  Most of my family vacations while growing up were camping or fishing trips of some sort, and so I absolutely love our kayaks and tent trailers.  There’s just something amazing about getting away from the loud noise of regular life and entering a place that’s peaceful just with family or friends, whether it’s grand mountains or a mirrored lake.  But I'm definitely itching to get my hands on quite a long list of Lifetime Products.

On a typical Saturday afternoon you can find me: My Saturdays consist of at least five things—errands & cleaning, hiking, reading, writing, and spending time with family & friends.  I’m a big fan of relaxing, and the reading and writing is like a mini vacation; a chance for me to go into another world and spend time with my other “friends” for a short while.  Sometimes that relaxation extends into my family and friends time as I catch up on new movies or television shows…I don’t even dare list all the shows I’m fanatic about (Vampire Diaries, Fringe, New Girl, and believe me when I say the list goes on...).   But most of all, living in Utah gives me a plethora of hiking trails.  Taking an hour or two to get away is just the recharge I need.

My favorite escape: BOOKS.  I’ve purchased (shhhh) about $300 worth of new books in just two months and read about twenty of them so far.

Other blogs/websites I can’t get enough of:  I’m a self-diagnosed Facebook addict, but I love reading friend’s blogs, MSN Wonderwall (Yes, I’m a celebrity gossip enthusiast), GoodReads, Barnes and Nobel, Pinterest, and GrammarGirl (a grammar must-know!), and of course my own writing/book review blog: WritingMindCelebrities.blogspot.com.

A 50 Year Achievement
The Mercedes-Benz dealership in Salt Lake City celebrated its fifty year anniversary earlier this month. My wife, Jenny was asked to assist with this event. The celebration was an important event for not only the local dealership, but to Mercedes-Benz as well.In the automobile business it is uncommon for one dealership with the original franchise owner to stay in business with the same car franchise for over fifty years. The award presentation featured a beautifully designed trophy, sculpted with metal in the form of a classic Mercedes-Benz automobile. After the presentation, a lunch was served for those in attendance. Jenny couldnt help but notice that the tables and chairs that were set up for the event were of course made by Lifetime. They used Lifetime 6 foot banquet tables covered with white linens and floral arrangeme...
