Win a Fold-In-Half Table and Chairs to Seat Your Thanksgiving Guests!

card table and chairs.JPG This giveaway has ended. Halloween isn't even here yet, but if you have walked through any stores lately, you know that retailers are already in full swing with Thanksgiving and even Christmas displays.  Personally, I like to think about one holiday at a time!  But, at Lifetime we're already starting to think about the holidays, too with products, sales, and more.  In fact, the holiday entertaining season is one of the most popular times for people to purchase Lifetime folding tables and chairs because they need extra dining space for Thanksgiving dinners, extra buffet table space, and more.

So even though it's still October, this month our giveaway is geared for your November and December needs.  We're giving away a Lifetime 34" Fold-In-Half Square Table and four Lifetime Light Commercial Folding chairs!  Square tables  - or card tables as they are often called - are so convenient to have around the house.  Not only are they great for extra dining space at your holiday dinners, but they are also handy to pull out for game nights, birthday parties, crafts, puzzles, garage sales, bake sales, and so much more.  And, I love this particular table we are giving away because it actually folds in half!  That makes it so easy to carry and store and, best of all, it easily fits in any-sized vehicle or closet since it folds to just 34"x17.6"x3".

Like all of our Lifetime tables and chairs, this 34" Fold-In-Half Table and matching chairs are made of blow-molded, high-density polyethylene with a powder-coated steel frame so they are perfect for indoor or outdoor use.34 FIH folded.jpg

Even if you don't plan to use the table this holiday season, feel free to still enter the giveaway.  I know you'll find plenty of other uses for this great little table and chairs throughout the year!

How to Enter:

  1. Send an e-mail to PR@lifetime.com with the subject line "October Giveaway" and your full name in the email message.
  2. If you currently own a card table, let us know if you typically buy a card table as a set with matching chairs... why or why not?

Bonus Entries:

  1. "Like"  Lifetime Products on Facebook.  Once you "Like" us (or if you already do), send an email to PR@lifetime.com with your full name telling us you "Like" Lifetime Products and you'll receive one bonus entry.
  2. Follow us on Twitter @Lifetime365 and retweet to your friends "Love this card table that @Lifetime365 is giving away… it folds in half! Would be great for my Thanksgiving dinner. http://bit.ly/R9M29Q" to receive one bonus entry.

The contest begins Wednesday, October 17, 2012 and will end Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 12:00 Midnight MST.  We'll announce one random winner on Monday, October 29, 2012. (Each person may only enter once via email, once via Twitter, and once via Facebook.  Click here for complete contest rules.)

This really WOULD be great for Christmas dinner! My sister and her family are coming back home from Perth, Australia after moving there in January 2008! So, it's been almost 5 years since I've seen them, and we are SO excited! My husband's family is coming to visit and meet them, too, so we are going to have a FULL house! We could definitely use the extra table space! :)

I have one of these fold up tables plus the fold up picnic table and benches. We love them and use them for our HUGE indoor and outdoor family gatherings. They are all the same height width allows us to make a HUGE Thanksgiving table with benches for kids (we can seat more) and chairs for adults. I have been so happy with Lifetime tables, I have purchased them for our church.

I love this Table and chair set. It's beautiful, light, easy to store due to it folding in half, last but, not least, it is so needed for the Holidays. I serve about 60 immediate family members for the holidays. I not only trust my family to sit and enjoy dinner on the folding table, but, trust it enough to put my heavy Turkey and Ham on. With so many people, and so much food you have to think of everything. After the food has been served and belly's are full; until we get back into left-overs and desserts again. We play games on it as well. Believe me some of our male family members slam their hands and arms on the table with excitement. I trust the strength of the table.

The family has a card table that we pass around for holidays and also the girls of the family play bunco, so we bought a table and matching chairs a while ago. They are so handy to have, however, they have had so much use, they need replacing soon!

Even on Madison Avenue...
It's funny to see where our tables pop up. This table sighting isn't all that big of a surprise, but I certainly think it's noteworthy. We have a long-standing partnership with Hunter Public Relations out of New York City. Hunter PR handles all of our media realtions, large-scale media programs and helps us get the word out about our brand and our products. They are in the midst of remodeling their corporate offices in Manhattan, and their current workspace is -- to say it mildly -- a bit fragmented. They have had to make do with our fine products as their conference room tables. It seems to be working out just fine. We'll be heading out there in a few weeks to plan for our 2009 strategy, and although I hope their offices are finished, it would be fun to sit in a big, prestigious PR office on Madison Avenue talking about ou...

Rich Snippets: Coming Soon to a Search Engine Near You!
Search engines not only display content, they spider web pages, gathering information from your pages, then re-work all that information into a listing that searchers see when they're looking for stuff -- and the cycle is complete. When a person goes to a search engine they have a good idea of what theyre looking for (otherwise they'll be on StumbleUpon, right?). With millions of search results being found and displayed, sometimes it's hard for people to find what they're looking for among all those results. To help combat that, Google is trying to show searchers more information about their search results. Information about information? That sounds a lot like meta-data! Yes, yes it does! Here at Lifetime, we're starting to roll out web pages that will take advantage of Google's "Rich Snippits" to get more information...
