What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

Scrapping old Memories; Making New
Scrapbooking for 3 days straight maysound like a weird form of torture... but even after the paper cuts, late nights, and reeeeally early mornings,I look forward toittwice a year. My familys crazy little tradition is called "Scrapbook Weekend". If youre anything like me; you have a busy schedule, a suffering photo album, talkative friends and family, and an endlessappetite for good cooking. Scrapbook Weekend givesme the chance to learn new layouts, trade materials, or just catch-up on all my photos. Twice a year, all my aunts and cousins (about 18-20 people total) drive to my moms house with cars full photos, paper supplies, and the fixin's for some great food. We load all the food in the fridge, spread out our cutters, paper, pictures and embellishments on about 6 or 7 Lifetime tables, and camp out for 3 days stacking page...
We Went Wassailing...Sort Of
It's hard to believe that Christmas is almost here. We don't really have any big pre-holiday traditions of our own, but we do try to partake in some of the local festivities wherever we live. (It tastes kind of like hot apple cider.) Apparently, wassailing dates back to the middle ages as an earlyform of holiday charitable giving.Peasants would go caroling to each house carrying cups. Tailgating at the BCS Championship Game
If theres one thing I love, its college football season. Having attended a large public university where football is its own institution, Saturdays are always spent in front of the TV watching the NCAA action. I hadnt had the pleasure of actually going to a game and better yet, enjoying the tailgating festivities in more than five years until recently.I might as well spill it now. Im a Gator fan I bleed orange and blue. And now is as good a time as any to be a Gator fan. In case you dont follow college football, the Gators ranked second this year and claimed a spot to play the number one ranked Oklahoma Sooners in this years Bowl Championship Series game in Miami, FL. Essentially, this is the Super Bowl of college football. As a Florida native, I knew I had to make it to this game. A couple friends and I were able to g...
