Too Much Outdoor Stuff and Not Enough Space to Store It? Enter to Win a Lifetime Storage Box!

September 2012 contest ended.jpgThis giveaway has ended. Like it or not, fall officially starts this weekend which means cooler temperatures will soon be on their way and - gasp - even snowflakes for some of us.  Time to start packing up all those fun new pool toys and floaties for the winter, plus those cute patio furniture cushions you bought this summer. Oh, and don't forget the kids' balls and outdoor toys, too.  Uh-oh.  If you're like me, this is when you start to think…  "Umm.  This stuff was great in the summer, but now where am I going to put everything when we aren't using it?"

I completely understand your dilemma.  It seems every year I keep accumulating more stuff that seems like a great idea at the time, until it comes time to store it.  That's why this month we're going to give one lucky random winner a Lifetime 80-Gallon Outdoor Storage Box!  It's perfect for throwing in all those outdoor toys, pool equipment, yard tools, and more to store your outdoor clutter.  It's water-resistant so your stuff will be nice and dry all year long even after the snow melts.  The best part is, it's strong enough to sit on to use as a bench, too. So, you can hide your clutter and expand your patio seating all at the same time.

If you want to learn a little bit more about the Lifetime 80-Gallon Outdoor Storage Box, here's a quick video to show you all of the features.  Then, we're you're ready to enter, simply email us with the info below, sit tight, and cross your fingers!

How to Enter:

  1. Send an e-mail to PR@lifetime.com with the subject line "September contest" and your full name in the email message.

We have 4 jack russells with lots of toys. I would like to train them to put their toys away. If they would put their toys away, perhaps my grumpy old man husband would not run over at least one of those toys with the riding mower and end up cussing loud enough for the neighbors to hear. It is pretty embarrassing when we get together with the neighbors and they have heard what comes out of his mouth. I think he actually looks for an excuse to cuss so loud because I really think he doesn't like the neighbors very much.

Park It in the Garage
Small gatherings of family and friends are not uncommon at our home. My wife really likes to entertain guests. However, inviting about 100 of our closest relatives during the heat of the day was a little bit of a stretch for our home, so I came up with a solution . . . overflow seating in the garage! Heres what happened: A few weeks ago, we decided to celebrate the birth of our 2 month old baby girl. We agreed to hold a casual party to celebrate this occasion with a few of our closest relatives. After the invite list ballooned to around 100 people, I realized my wifes definition of a few was much different than mine. It wasnt long before I realized the seating capacity of our home would not accommodate her expanding invite list.Due to time constraints, the only time the party could be held was in the middle of the afternoon....

Lifetime Garden Beds Are BPA Free
Some of you have asked if the plastic panels on the Lifetime Raised Garden Bed contain BPA (Bishphenol_A). Good question! BPA is a plasticizer that is used in the manufacturing of PVC (Polyvinyl chloride, recycling type 3 7) and other polycarbonate plastics to make them flexible. It is used mostly in flexible PVC piping, toys, plastic bottles, and the lining of some canned goods. In 2008, BPA became controversial as research indicated that it may be dangerous to our healthespecially to babies. The US Food and Drug Administration has now taken steps to reduce human exposure to BPA in our food supply and food containers. The good news is thatLifetime's plastic garden bed panels and the frost coverDO NOT contain BPA. They are a Green Product. We use high-density polyethylene plastic (HDPE, recycling code type 2), and non toxic...
