ribbon cutting.jpgAfter several months of construction, we are excited to announce our Lifetime Store in St. George, Utah is officially open for business!  This morning we held the official ribbon cutting ceremony and we’ll be celebrating with our Grand Opening event this entire week.

If you’re in the St. George area, be sure to stop by our Grand Opening because we have a lot going on that you won’t want to miss…  radio remote broadcasts, contests, prizes, face painting, balloon artist, refreshments, and lots of fun products to see!  Plus, we’ll also be giving away a Lifetime kayak, youth paddleboard, and an Ace Flyer Teeter-Totter. Of course it wouldn’t be a Grand Opening without some sales too - including $500 off the new Lifetime Double Slide Deluxe Playset! Stop by today through Saturday for 10% off your entire purchase. And, if that isn’t enough, the first 50 customers on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will be given a Lifetime Store t-shirt!inside St. George store.jpg

Lifetime Brands
Earlier this year, we bought a GMC Acadia. I LOVE it! It was the first crossover SUV of its kind and now several other automakers have followed suit. The Acadia is an SUV on the outside with the seating configuration of a mini-van on the inside. Perfect for those of us who like the idea of a mini-van, but not all the psychological baggage that comes along with them! Over the past few months, as friends see our vehicle they will often say comments like, This reminds me a lot of a Saturn Outlook. Or, Is this like a Saturn Outlook? Well, you know why? They are the same car! GMowns both the GMC andSaturn brand and, consequently, the Acadia and Outlook bascially come off the same production line. (And, the Buick Enclave too!). For various marketing and sales strategies, companies often make the same product with slight variations...
Utah Genius Awards
Not everyday can you say you know a genius. And, I feel lucky enough to say I do! A few weeks ago, The Bateman IP Group in Utah hosted the annual Utah Genius Awards at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City and thanks to the creative collaboration of our research and development team, Lifetime was honored, yet again as one of the top companies with the most patents issued in 2012with 22 new patents! Mitch Johnson accepted this award along with our very own, Wendell Peery, who was also recognized for being one of the top 20 people in Utah with the most patents issued in 2012with 11 patents! These awards are based on patent statistics and serve as Utahs prime program for recognizing and honoring the brilliant minds and innovative companies that drive Utahs economy. Randall B. Bateman, founder of Bateman IP, said, We are c...
