New Lifetime Tent Trailer - Perfect for Work and Play

Tent Trailer 1.jpgI am very excited about Lifetime’s new Tent Trailer. Not so much because it is a tent trailer (although that part is very cool especially for the camping family) but I am excited because of its diversity.

After years of looking and deciding, my wife and I purchased our first home this year. We purchased the home brand new and, let me tell you, there is a lot of yard work to be done. We have tons to do to get the yard looking its best. We have decided to add decorative rock, as well as sprinklers and sod. This new Lifetime Tent Trailer will be perfect to haul them all. Trees and shrubbery are a must. We haven’t figured out what kind of trees we want to get, but its nice to know I have away to pick them up from the nursery when we decide.

tent trailer 2.jpgWait a minute. Hauling rock, sod, and trees in our tent trailer? Yes! See, the new Lifetime Tent Trailer is actually designed first, and foremost, as a utility trailer. It's perfect for everyday yard work, moving furniture etc. since it has 120 cubic feet of cargo space with 40" sides for tall loads. And, what's cool is the sides of the trailer even unfold to double as a work table.  It has a 7'x5' solid wood floor and a heavy-duty steel frame with a durable, rust-resistant powder-coated finish.

After we get the yard in maybe we will even have time to go on that camping trip with the kids to Bear Lake. And, with the Lifetime Tent Trailer, we'll be ready to go in no time because the trailer converts in less than 10 minutes to a spacious 84 square-foot camping tent that sleeps up to six people.  The best part is the tent folds into a small bag that fits in our vehicle so we can still use the entire trailer to haul an ATV, Lifetime Kayaks, or other camping equipment. This is a huge difference (literally) from most other tent trailers on the market which have a tent bag that takes up the entire trailer leaving no room to haul your fun gear.

Want to see the new Lifetime Tent Trailer in action?  Check out this video. If you like what you see, you can find them online at Costco.com and the Lifetime Store Online for under $3,000.  And, later this summer they will also be available on Amazon.com, Cabelas.com and in select Cabela's stores.

Video Tips for Building a Lifetime Shed
I FINALLY did it! I finally got around to editing and uploading my video clips from when we built our Lifetime 8x5 Shed back in the Fall. But, hopefully, its just in time to help those of you workaholics who are planning on building a Lifetime shed this Memorial Day weekend! The video is a little long (about 10 minutes), but its a condensed, yet thorough, documentary of our 4 hour and 45 minute project. (Honest, thats all the time it took us to build an entire shed!) Its a great insight as to what youre really in for if yourethinking aboutbuilding aLifetime shed. And, its filled with tips for steps where we, as normal homeowners, had problems. So, in addition to reading the instructions and my other three shed building posts, be sure to watch this video for some pointers and heads-up of steps that were a little tricky for ...

Lifetime's Annual Service Project 2010- Park Beautification
This pastSaturday, October 9,Lifetime Products employeesmet at Clearfield Citys Steed Park for Lifetimes 5th Annual Local Community Service Project. What a sight! More than800 employees were busy laying sod, trimming trees, leveling baseball diamonds, picking up trash, and much more, to beautify and improve the 23-acre Steed Park for local residents. It was a great experience working togetheroutside of our normal everyday jobs to do something to give back and help improve our local community. It was also a true team effort. Everyone pitched in to help in some way or another... even Lifetime President Richard Hendrickson was busytrimming trees by the pond. Me? I rolled up my sleeves to help stain the pavilion whichwas a little messy, but fun nonetheless. Clearfield Parks and Recreation coordinated much of the work, and employe...
