Happy Memorial Day… and Happy Paddling to Our Kayak Winner!

payette kayak.jpgHappy Memorial Day!  From all of us here at Lifetime, we wish to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to all of the men and women who bravely serve, or have served, our country.  It is because of your courage and sacrifice for our country's freedom that we are able to celebrate today.

Today is a day many of us celebrate with barbeques, parades, shopping sales, and fun with friends and families.  However, may we all also take time to reflect on the true meaning of this day.

We also wish to extend congratulations to Michele A. of Kingstown, RI who is the lucky random winner of our Lifetime Payette Kayak giveaway!  Thanks to everyone who entered.   If you are looking for a fun way to enjoy the water this summer, you can find the entire line of Lifetime Kayaks and Paddleboards available for purcahse in the Lifetime Store online.

As always, stay tuned because we'll have a new giveaway next month!

Name- Jan

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

Roll It... Lifetime Fold-Up Utility Trailer Video
Sigh. So, I think I finally have my house and garage rearranged and organized to make room for all of the Christmas presents Santa brought. But, I know lots of you don't have the luxury of an attic or basement so you have to haul your stuff to a storage building, or eliminate the hoarding all together and simply haul it to Goodwill or the dump. Oh, and I know how those multiple trips to storage buildings or the dump can get tiresome. Even a pickup truck can fill up fast. If this sounds all too familiar to you, maybe i...
New Clearview Backboards
One of the great things about working at Lifetime Products is our people. We have a great group of engineers in our Sporting Goods department. Last fall, we were trying to come up with a way to make our basketball system backboards more like the pro boards. With some late nights and a lot of design work, we were able to come up with our new Clearview backboards. What is Clearview? Well, I am going to tell you. With residential systems it is common in the industry to have a backboard brace behind the square target of your backboard. On these systems we use a clear material called polycarbonate or on the higher end systems tempered-glass to make them look like the pro's. However, the backboard braces were blocking your view through the backboard. We wanted to remove the braces behind the target so there was a clear view more ...
