Happy Memorial Day… and Happy Paddling to Our Kayak Winner!

payette kayak.jpgHappy Memorial Day!  From all of us here at Lifetime, we wish to extend a heartfelt "thank you" to all of the men and women who bravely serve, or have served, our country.  It is because of your courage and sacrifice for our country's freedom that we are able to celebrate today.

Today is a day many of us celebrate with barbeques, parades, shopping sales, and fun with friends and families.  However, may we all also take time to reflect on the true meaning of this day.

We also wish to extend congratulations to Michele A. of Kingstown, RI who is the lucky random winner of our Lifetime Payette Kayak giveaway!  Thanks to everyone who entered.   If you are looking for a fun way to enjoy the water this summer, you can find the entire line of Lifetime Kayaks and Paddleboards available for purcahse in the Lifetime Store online.

As always, stay tuned because we'll have a new giveaway next month!

Name- Jan

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

Holiday Hoop Decor
This past weekend, my husband and I tookour kids to the Christmas Celebration at SeaWorld San Antonio. The kids love seeing all of the extra holiday decorations and special festivities. And, of course, getting pictures with Santa Shamu is always a thrill! We've actually been to the SeaWorld Christmas Celebration the past four years. It's somehow unintentionally turned into an annual holiday tradition for us. While some things like Santa Shamu and the giant Christmas tree at the front gate are always the same, most of the other displays have changed each year. This year, one of the new Christmas attractions was Snowman Village, an area featuring snowman characters resembling famous people. Guess who was the first snowman that I saw? San Antonio Spurs Basketball Player Manu "Snownobili" shooting hoops on a Lifetime Portable Ba...

But, before you start chunking everything in the garbage can, a majority of your holiday trash can actually be saved to make one last great gift to give to... your Lifetime Compost Tumbler!Holidays provide lots of great compost material that often gets overlooked. Take a look at all of these items you probably have laying around your house now that Santa has come and gone that you can easily add to your Lifetime Composter.Do put in your composter: Wrapping paper - Use only non-foil, non-glossy papers. Be sure to remove any ribbons and tape. Tear or shred paper then add it to your composter gradually to main...
Win TWO Picnic Tables for Your Summer BBQs!
This giveaway had ended. With backyard July 4th barbeques only a few weeks away, it's never too early to start planning the festivities. We want to join in the celebration fun too, so we are giving one lucky random winner the chance to seat their guests in style at a Lifetime Picnic Table this fourth of July! This isn't just any picnic table. This is the picnic table Lifetime invented in 1995 that swept the market and has been flying off shelves ever since. Why is it so popular? First, it has a blow-molded polyethylene tabletop that is maintenance free and easy to clean with a solid, one-piece surface so food and utensils can't fall through the cracks. But, what really makes it unique is that it quickly folds flat to store in the winter or to throw in the back of your truck to haul to the family reunion. If it's hard to envis...
