Helping Salt Lake Chamber Celebrate 125 Years

chamber 125th gala.JPGI recently had the privilege to attend the 125th Anniversary Gala for the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce. For 125 years, the Salt Lake Chamber has been Utah’s business leader and currently represents over 7,700 Utah businesses. As a member of the Chamber, Lifetime Products was able to send a representative to the gala and celebrate the rich history of businesses that have made Utah great.

The gala program was set up as a historical view of Utah businesses in a “Late Night Show” format that included: interviews, special guests, a Top Ten list, live music and more. Throughout each segment, they also featured key businesses with short informational videos. Lifetime Products was lucky enough to be one of the businesses featured throughout the program. It was great to see how our company fits in with other businesses throughout the state and how we play a huge roll in Utah’s economy.

The gala was a perfect way to celebrate not only Lifetime’s history, but other businesses in Utah as well. Take a minute (or actually 30 seconds) to check out our informationl video that was featured at the gala. (Lifetime is the second company in this clip and starts at :30.)

It's Fall Storage Season - Lifetime Has You Covered
As we welcome in the Fall season, we have to farewell theoutdoor entertaining season at least in most parts of the country. For those of you gearing up for cold and snowy winters, it's time to start packing up your outdoor areas including your pool, patio, deck, and yard. In the next few weeks, plan to cover the pool, clean the grill, and put away everything you wont need again until next summer. Unfortunately, all the things that live in your yard and on your patio during the summer suddenly now need a winter home. What to do with so much stuff? Well, first of all, sort through everything and determine if you really need to keep it. Often times outdoor items quickly get tattered, faded, and broken by the end of the summer and it's better to simply trash it. Or, if it's something you don't use anymore or have outgrown, consi...

Lifetime Harvest Exchange Shares Fresh Produce with Employees and Local Food Bank
If theres one thing we love at Lifetime, its food. Lets be honest here who doesnt?! So earlier this summer, employees started growing their own gardens for fresh produce, including some right here at Lifetime! But the hard work put into growing veggies isnt where all the fun is. Its in the eating. So for two months, we've been hosting our very own Farmers Market. Every Tuesday from August till September 25, Lifetime employees have been exchanging produce with each other during our Harvest Exchange. Weve seen gorgeous peppers, corn, tomatoes, lettuce, kale, and just about anything else you can imagine. The best part about this, is all the food that hasnt been picked up by employees has been donated to the local Food Bank to benefit members of our community. Often, having fresh vegetables in the home is a difficult thing, and...
