Helping Salt Lake Chamber Celebrate 125 Years

chamber 125th gala.JPGI recently had the privilege to attend the 125th Anniversary Gala for the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce. For 125 years, the Salt Lake Chamber has been Utah’s business leader and currently represents over 7,700 Utah businesses. As a member of the Chamber, Lifetime Products was able to send a representative to the gala and celebrate the rich history of businesses that have made Utah great.

The gala program was set up as a historical view of Utah businesses in a “Late Night Show” format that included: interviews, special guests, a Top Ten list, live music and more. Throughout each segment, they also featured key businesses with short informational videos. Lifetime Products was lucky enough to be one of the businesses featured throughout the program. It was great to see how our company fits in with other businesses throughout the state and how we play a huge roll in Utah’s economy.

The gala was a perfect way to celebrate not only Lifetime’s history, but other businesses in Utah as well. Take a minute (or actually 30 seconds) to check out our informationl video that was featured at the gala. (Lifetime is the second company in this clip and starts at :30.)

Holiday Hoop Decor
This past weekend, my husband and I tookour kids to the Christmas Celebration at SeaWorld San Antonio. The kids love seeing all of the extra holiday decorations and special festivities. And, of course, getting pictures with Santa Shamu is always a thrill! We've actually been to the SeaWorld Christmas Celebration the past four years. It's somehow unintentionally turned into an annual holiday tradition for us. While some things like Santa Shamu and the giant Christmas tree at the front gate are always the same, most of the other displays have changed each year. This year, one of the new Christmas attractions was Snowman Village, an area featuring snowman characters resembling famous people. Guess who was the first snowman that I saw? San Antonio Spurs Basketball Player Manu "Snownobili" shooting hoops on a Lifetime Portable Ba...
Add Charm to Outdoor Living Space with New Lifetime 3-Piece Bistro Set
With the warm weather starting to appear, it's the perfect time to start thinking about sprucing up your outdoor living space. Adding an outdoor eating/entertaining area is always an inviting idea. If you don't have a lot of space, but still want to add some cozy charm to your patio, deck, or porch, our newest product is a great solution. The new Lifetime3-Piece Bistro Set is, I think, one of our best looking tables yet. It is made from a type of polystyrene material that is strong, water- and fade-proof, looks like wood, but is not high maintenance like real wood furniture can be. Its a nice round table with two chairs that is great for eating outdoors on the patio. The frame is powder-coated aluminum, so its lightweight and wont rust in the elements. Once winter comes back, the table and chairs fold-up with an easy single-...
My kayak outing!
Every summer, my church plans some sort of camping/boating outing for many reasons but mostly to have fun and enjoy each others company. This year was no different. We ended up on the hills of Heber City at Heber Valley Camp. Knowing I worked for Lifetime, I had several requests to bring kayaks for our day at the lake. So, I checked out the trailer with 12 Lifetime Monterrey Kayaks and we spent all day Saturday paddling around. Needless to say, Lifetime kayaks were a hit! I heard nothing but positive compliments about the boats. Many people were amazed at the stability of the kayaks. A lot of people who had never tried kayaking expected the kayaks to feel like canoes that can tip with any sudden movement. But, theyre not! Kayaks have a much wider, flatter hull than a canoe so they are a lot more stable especially Lifetime k...
