Will Luck O' the Irish Help You Win A Lifetime Raised Garden Bed?

march 2012 contest ended.jpgThis giveaway has ended.  Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day.  And, as you know, tradition is to wear green.  But, rather than wear green, we thought it would be more fun to give something green instead.

Our Facebook fans had some really great green guesses yesterday including some we didn't even think of!  Money, green kayaks, and Earthtone playsets were all great guesses.  However, we were thinking something along the less traditional green lines… like a Lifetime Raised Garden Bed!

Ok, so maybe it's not actually green in color. (Although there is a little green on the cover. Does that count?) But, you can fill a Lifetime Raised Garden Bed with lots of beautiful green vegetables and it can help you live a more "green" lifestyle.   Ok, ok, kind of a stretch, we admit. But are you complaining?  It's still a free giveaway!  And, after all, this was one of the top products our entrants put on their wish list during our December gift certificate giveaway.

So, this month, one lucky random winner will receive a Lifetime Raised Garden Bed Kit that includes two 4'x4' boxes (that can be used separately or stacked together for deep root plants) and an early start enclosure.  If you've never tried square-foot gardening, you're going to love it!  Raised beds save time and save space.  Better soil and less weeds means easier maintenance.  Plus, plant placement is done differently in a raised garden box, and this allows you to grow five times as many crops as traditional gardening because it uses 20% of the space of single-row gardens. The best part? You can have this Lifetime Raised Garden Kit up and ready to go in less than one hour!

Ready to try to win your pot o' (garden) gold?

I would like the to make the stacked raised bed for my root veggies. Our ground is a heavy clay and this would be great for those veggies. I do not have a raised bed yet but love to garden.:)

I do not already own a raised garden bed, but it is something we have talked about many times. This giveaway would be the perfect time to get started!

I think this is such a clever giveaway to go along with the green theme of St. Patrick's Day. I wish I had seen it earlier!

Santa's Secret Shed
Shhhhhh. Don't tell my kids. The other day I talked with Santa at the mall and he informed me he is bringing my little girl a play kitchen. I'm so excited, she's going to love it! However, Santa was a bit concerned because the box is so big. He was worried that with such a big box he may not be able to fit everything in his sleigh on Christmas Eve. So, he asked if there was any possible way he could deliver the present early and hide it at our house until Christmas Eve when he'll put it under the tree. Yikes! At first I thought there was no possible way I'd be able to hide a present that large at our house. WAIT! Ding, ding! I just remembered the new Lifetime shed that we built in our backyard. It'san8'x5' shedso it has plenty of room to hide a play kitchen box. However, my son does likes to play in there sometimes and pret...
Creating Additional Space in Your Home
As a real estate agent, I often hear from people who want a new home because theyve outgrown the current one. In some cases, people really do need larger homes, but other times, homeowners just need to use their propertyinside and outdifferently. In a tough economy, like the one were in, its especially important to understand that difference. Do you think youve outgrown your house, but cant afford to build an expensive home addition or move to something larger? Thankfully, there are alternatives. One significantly more budget-friendly option I recommend for people who decide to stay put (at least temporarily) is an outdoor storage building. A shed instead of a larger house? you may ask. Absolutely! A great shed, like the ones from Lifetime Products, can free up closets, cabinets, attics, garages and more for other uses. ...
