We hope lots of you have Lifetime products on your Christmas lists this year!  If you do, hopefully, the instruction manual included with your product will answer any questions you may have, especially regarding assembly instructions.  And, just in case you accidentally throw your instructions away with the giant heap of wrapping paper, we even have most of our assembly instructions online.  Whew!

If you need still need extra help after reading the instruction manual, be to also check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page on www.lifetime.com

If you can't find your answer online or you simply want to talk to someone in person, Lifetime's Customer Service department is always happy to help.  However, just like you, it is important to us for our employees to celebrate the holidays at home with families.  Therefore, please note that we will be closed the following days during the holidays:

December 24, Christmas Eve -  CLOSED
December 25, Christmas Day  -  CLOSED
December 26 - CLOSED
December 31, New Year's Eve - CLOSED

Other than the days posted above, our Customer Care department is open Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm and on Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm (MST).  You can contact Lifetime Customer Care via phone at 1-800-225-3865 or anytime via email at customercare@lifetime.com.

Name- Jan

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

A Size for Everyone -- Go Green with New 50-Gallon Composter
For this post, I want to write about our new Lifetime 50-Gallon Composter. Loyal blog readers (if there are any of them out there) know that Lifetime offers a variety of composters. These composters make being green easy, help provide beautiful gardens, and potentially save the planet. Yep, composters are pretty much modern day superheroes. Well, maybe that is a little extreme, but they are pretty cool. Lifetime has been in the composter manufacturing business for about five years now. I remember when my boss came to me and said he wanted to develop a composter for mass market retail. I have to admit, I thought his brain might have started to compost. I didn't think mass market retail was ready for compost bins. After all, they were only for people who lived completely off the land in rural USA, right? Boy was I wrong... and...
What NOT to Do When Assembling a Lifetime Basketball Hoop
A few months ago I forewarned you of the top three things to know before assembling a Lifetime Basketball Hoop. Today, I'm going to share with you some of the specific hurdles I alluded to in that post that we crossed along the way when assembling our own Lifetime Basketball Hoop (model 90228). To be honest, I'm kind of embarrassed to share my story with you given some of the pretty major "oopsies" we had. After all, since I work for Lifetime, you'd think I'd know how to assemble the products. Not necessarily true. This was my first time assembling a Lifetime Basketball Hoop. Let's just say, I can definitely empathize with our customers now! Before we started assembling, we laid out all of our parts and pieces to make sure we could easily find everything. Thankfully, all the parts and bags of hardware are labeled well. Simpl...
Overnight Kayak Adventures
For most people, when they think about kayaking, they think of aday trip to the local lake. Maybe a vacation day spent floating on the ocean, watching the birds and listening to the calm ocean ripples. While these trips are great, with just a bit more effort, you can really turn a kayaking trip into a fun filled outdoor adventure. What better way to bond with your family or a group of friends then to be outside, away from all the electronic distractions, kayaking and camping in the wilderness. There are several ways to enjoy a camping and kayak trip. Some riversflow through campgrounds, parks or national forest land allow camping right along the banks of the rivers. This type of trip can be great for a weekend get-a-way. Day one is spent paddling a few miles to your secluded campsite and getting yourself all setup. You get to ...
