Gliding with Grandpa

Glider bench with Papa.jpgStill searching for that perfect Christmas gift to give your parents, grandparents, or your spouse?  Here's an idea - how about a cozy Lifetime Glider Bench?

Last year, I gave my Dad the Lifetime Glider Bench for Christmas. I purchased the original Lifetime Glider Bench because it matched the Lifetime Picnic Table they have in their back yard.  (The Lifetime Glider Bench is also available in a Wood Alternative version that looks like real wood slats.)

My Dad put his new Lifetime Glider Bench under a huge tree in the backyard at his lake house so he can sit under the shade and watch the lake. This summer when my family went home to visit, we all took turns at some point relaxing and gliding on the bench to watch the soothing waves on the lake, the crackling fire pit, or a friendly game of Cornhole.  But, my favorite use was when my daughter snuggled up and shared stories and giggles with Papa on the Lifetime Glider Bench.

Yes, that's what Lifetime products do.  We bring people together.  Whether it's a picnic table for a birthday party, a playset for new friendships, or a glider bench for quality time with grandchildren, we make products to help you enjoy your life.

Does this sound like a gift someone you know could enjoy?  Then hurry and visit our Lifetime Store online where shipping is ALWAYS free!

Celebrating Earth Day
Earth Day is one of those things Ilearned about in elementary school. I remember running home to tell my mom that each drop of water we waste actually becomes a gallon of wasted water for the earth!Like my mom reacted at the time, I now don't think that's true. Myfirst grade brainmust have exaggerated the concept. For this year'sEarth Day, I decided to volunteer at the local nature center's event, helping with a craft table for children making magazinebead necklaces. Lots of fun!Volunteers before me had made thousands of beads and even sorted them by color. Looking around, I spotted a couple Lifetime tables. I asked one of the vendors a little about her booth then let her know I work for the company who made her table. She immediatley beamed "I love this table!"and went on to say that she bought it for acertain purpouse but us...
Lifetime Card Table Comparison
A few months ago, I posted some photos to show you a comparison of the size of Lifetime chairs to a typical folding chair. So, today, I thought I'd go ahead and show you how a Lifetime Card Table compares to a typical card table. First of all, what you may not realize, without having two card tables to compare side-by-side, is that a typical card table is 34" square while the Lifetime card table is actually 37". As you can see by the photo, this provides quite a bit of extra useable surface area. This extra space certainly comes in handy when I seat four people around the table to eat, piece together large puzzles, and more. And, don't worry, the table is still lightweight and easy to carry at just 19lbs. Speaking of weightthe Lifetime card table is engineered for superior strength and durability. In fact, the Lifetime card...
How I Used the Lifetime Space Planner to Plan Bear's Backyard
As you can see in my last post, Lifetime recently partnered with the Utah Jazz to sponsorBear's Backyard--aplay area for families. It has becomea popularhangout for fans! I had the opportunity to go toa gamethe other nightagainst the Atlanta Hawks. It was one of the first timescoming back sinceIcollaborated with theLifetime Store to plan the area in October. It turns out, seeing kids having fun onthe Lifetimeplaygrounds and Double Shotswere one of the few happy sights that night...our beloved Jazz were 3-pointed to deathby those pesky Hawks, resulting in a score of110-87.As you can see in this photo, the faces of the people behind us are a little nervous. Fans leftstill hopeful though. I think we know that the Jazzwill get back on their winning streak soon! When putting together the plan for Bear's Backyard, we were faced wi...
