New Health and Wellness Products Coming Soon

untitled1.jpgOver the past year, we've shared with you information and videos about our new Lifetime Tru-Motion™ Walking Cane - and even about awards the cane has won. I am thrilled to tell you that because of the success with our cane, Lifetime has decided to launch an entire line of home safety accessories!  Right now on our website, you'll find the Tru-Motion™ Walking Cane in our "Other Innovations" category. But, very soon, you'll see another new product category added on our website called "Health and Wellness" which will be the new home for the cane and our upcoming new home safety accessories like bath and towel safety grab bars.

We plan to develop a complete line of products to help the baby boomer generation stay active and live in their homes as long as possible.  So, what will make our products different from other safety accessories already on the market?  You know Lifetime.  We pride ourselves on innovative products and this line of Health and Wellness products is no different.  Our products will be built for safety, but will be designed with an attractive decorative look that camouflages the fact that they are safety accessories.  No more clunky eye sores.  Our products will actually complement a home and look like other trendy home accessories, but they will provide needed security and independence for residential users.  Another difference? Unlike most home safety accessories, our new products will be available (like all of our products) through mainstream consumer retail locations for easy access, rather than through only medical suppliers.

As part of our decision to create a Health and Wellness category, Lifetime acquired the assets of LiveWell Home Safety Solutions, LLC earlier this year. The acquisition of the Ohio-based designer of home safety accessories also included a patent application and all registered trademarks.  We will continue with LiveWell's current product offerings, and add more many complementary products.

We are excited about this new venture and we hope you will be excited when you see them, too.  Look for a full line for Health and Wellness products to be available under both the LiveWell and Lifetime brands in early 2012 at home improvement stores nationwide and in the Lifetime Store online.  In the meantime, keep checking back because we'll be sure to introduce you to our new Health and Wellness products here on this blog as soon as we are ready to unveil them for a sneak peek

Yum! BBQ Rat!
Like most people, I enjoy firing up the BBQ grill to cook dinner outside. Im usually a big fan of steaks, marinated pork loins, and the occasional chicken breasts. Last week, however, I almost tried a new cut of meat RAT!! Ugh. My husband opened the lid to light the grill and, much to his surprise, a rat was scurrying around under the rack! Unfortunately, this isnt our first rat encounter. About a month ago, I was in our backyard and saw two rats run across our wooden fence. I FREAKED! We just had friends in a subdivision a few miles down the road who had one rat do $8,000 damage to their new house when a rat in their attic chewed through AC lines! And now, the nasty little vermin are daring to venture into my yard. Let me make it clear I dont do RODENTS!! I immediately called our exterminator who set some bait boxes by the...
Table Washing Can Be " Eggstremely" Fun
Happy Easter! I hope you are enjoying this beautiful, special day. Yesterday we finally managed to find time to let the kids dye Easter eggs just in time for the Easter bunny to hide them this morning. My kids had been begging me to do this for days so I knew they were going to be wound up and over-anxious for the activity. I wasnt too keen on the thought of dye possibly getting spilled on my kitchen rug. So, since the weather was absolutely gorgeous, I grabbed my Lifetime Personal Table and egg dyeing supplies and we headed outside where messes are always welcome. I placed the little cups of dye on the kids picnic table and I set my Lifetime Personal Table at the lowest height right next to the picnic table to hold the rest of the supplies so the kids would have plenty of room to move around. They had fun coloring their nam...
First 10 Customers Get 40% Off The New Lifetime Netball System!
Be one of the first 10 customers to purchase the new Lifetime Netball system on buylifetime.com and get 40% off the regular price! (One system per customer.) Lifetime Products has added the unique game of Netball to its line up of basketball hoops so don't miss this introductory special. The Netball system is not like any other basketball hoop. It is designed with a portable 10 gallon base, a telescoping pole that adjusts from 7.5 to 10 ft, and a 15" rim, but unlike other basketball goals, it does not have a backboard. That makes it much more challenging to get the ball in the net! The game of Netball was derived from early versions of basketball. Some of the differences between the rules of basketball and netball are: BBALL: 2 teams of 5 vs 5 NETBALL: 2 teams of 7 vs 7 BBALL: Players are free to go where they want on the ...
