Prepare for Autumn! Get a Lifetime Garden Frost Cover For $10 Off The Regular Price

You asked for it, you got it. Now you can buy our handy Lifetime Garden Frost Cover separately on our online store.  Use this early start enclosure cover alone or in combination with the Lifetime Raised Garden Bed. We sell a few different models for our raised garden bed kits and some of them don't have a cover for every bed in the kit (for gardeners who prefer to double stack the beds). Selling the garden cover separately provides you with more versatility and options in arranging your garden beds. This handy vinyl enclosure keeps your plants protected from wind, pests, and the dangerous frost during early autumn and late spring. Zippable opening allows you to open the enclosure on sunny days and let the bees and butterflies inside for necessary pollination. frostcover.jpg

The early start enclosure cover is 14.5" x 14.5" so it can cover several plants at a time, which is a convenient alternative to placing empty plastic milk jugs over each individual plant in your garden! The protection provided by this frost cover can extend the growing season of your garden by several weeks. So, if you just can't get enough of that homegrown goodness, try this innovative garden enclosure. Purchase it from the Lifetime Store online by entering model#60078 in the search bar and entering the special discount code "Frost10" when you Check Out to receive $10 off the regular price. Position at Lifetime Products: I'm a web content writer for our buylifetime website. I create the content for our online catalog and provide you with the detailed specs and product information you need.

Topics I Blog About: are all of the different Lifetime products we have to offer that will make your work easier and your R&R more enjoyable. I will keep you posted about all of the sales, discounts, and clearances we have on Lifetime products.

My favorite Lifetime Products: are the Lifetime tent trailer and the camping table because camping and camp cooking are two of my favorite hobbies.

On a Saturday afternoon you can find me: hiking in the mountains or bird watching at the lake; or I may be experimenting in the kitchen, cooking up my own exotic dishes from ideas I get on the food channel (to the delight or dismay of my family).

My favorite escape: My favorite year-round escape is a good book. My favorite genre is non-fiction, specifically biographies, and particularly foreign cultures. I enjoy browsing the Amazon.com book and movie reviews and tossing in my two cents worth.

It’s National Play-doh Day!
Bet you didn’t know it’s National Play-doh Day today, did you? Not exactly sure why I know, I guess I just stumbled across it online somehow. I’m also not sure what you’re supposed to do on National Play-doh Day and who even recognizes or sponsors it. But, in honor of National Play-doh Day, I thought it would be appropriate to post of picture of my son playing with…yep, you guessed it…Play-doh!:) Kids love Play-doh. Parents love the idea of fun, quiet, creative play…but, deep down, most of us hate the mess it makes and detest the fact that the stuff dries out after just a few months no matter how tightly you put on the lid! A lot of my friends only let their kids use Play-doh outside so they don’t have to worry about cleaning up those gazallion little rice-sized pieces that get dropped on the floor. I’m not that hard-core, ...
Spring Break in Port Aransas
Deep breath. Looong slow exhale. Ok, I think Im mentally ready to unwind from my spring break vacation and start writing. As much as my parents deny it, theyre becoming Ohio snowbirds. For the past two years theyve packed their mini van full and moved to Texas for the month of March. They rent a condo right on the beach in Port Aransas on Mustang Island. I am very blessed that they choose to come to Texas rather than Florida so they can spend quality time with me. Ok, who am I kidding, we all know its for the quality time with my kids, not me! :) So, last week we headed to Port Aransas for spring break week to visit my parents. Spring break at Port Aransas is well, different. I did the whole spring break trip to South Padre Island back in my college days. It was pretty much what you see when watching MTVs Spring Break showh...
It's Fall Storage Season - Lifetime Has You Covered
As we welcome in the Fall season, we have to farewell theoutdoor entertaining season at least in most parts of the country. For those of you gearing up for cold and snowy winters, it's time to start packing up your outdoor areas including your pool, patio, deck, and yard. In the next few weeks, plan to cover the pool, clean the grill, and put away everything you wont need again until next summer. Unfortunately, all the things that live in your yard and on your patio during the summer suddenly now need a winter home. What to do with so much stuff? Well, first of all, sort through everything and determine if you really need to keep it. Often times outdoor items quickly get tattered, faded, and broken by the end of the summer and it's better to simply trash it. Or, if it's something you don't use anymore or have outgrown, consi...
