Lifetime Outdoor Storage Box Makes Great Boat Dock Locker

Boat locker 1.jpgI spy with my little eye… a Lifetime Outdoor Storage Box!  Yep, while I was in Ohio visiting my parents a few weeks ago, I was happy to spot a Lifetime Storage Box being used as a boat dock locker at the local marina where my parents keep their boat.

Although they aren't actually sold through marine supply stores (yet), Lifetime Outdoor Storage Boxes are certainly built to be ideal for a boat dock locker.  Like all Lifetime products, the Lifetime Outdoor Storage Box is made of double-wall, high-density polyethylene that is UV-protected so it won't fade, crack, or peel.  The Lifetime Storage Box also has a weather- and water-resistant seal that keeps the interior dry.   Boaters will love the fact that the controlled spring-hinge lid opens to greater than 90° which means you can easily stuff large seat cushions, lifejackets, buoys, fishing equipment, and more without worrying about having the lid slam shut!

Backed by a 10-year warranty, it also has a nice flat lid that is strong enough to double as a bench when you sit around sharing fishing stories with your buds. And, they are very affordable compared to most fiberglass boat dock lockers.  Most importantly, it has a lockable lid to protect all of your valuables.  Oh, and if the seagulls decide to leave you a present on your Lifetime Storage box - don't worry, they are stain resistant and easy to clean! :) boat locker 2.jpg

The most common use for our Lifetime Outdoor Storage Boxes is on backyard decks or patios. But, obviously, the uses are truly endless.  So, how do you use your Lifetime Storage Box?  Leave us a comment, we'd love to hear!

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

It looks tough and durable. Is it a hard plastic?

It is constructed of rigid, double-wall, high-density polyethlene, which feels like our Lifetime folding tables if you are familar with those.

New Website Introducing our all-new BackyardsInc.com Website!
I love the autumn. The trees are changing colors, the heat of summer is gone. The garden is growing "cool weather crops" again. And, BackyardsInc.com (the website for the Official Lifetime Products Outlet Store) just got a major overhaul! Okay, honestly, why should you care about us re-releasing one of our websites? Simply put, we make our websites for you! In this revision of the site, we started from the ground-up, building the site with ASP.NET MVC2, HTML5, CSS3, and even a custom JqueryUI theme thrown in. All this equates to a faster website that takes less time to load, can display more information in a much more timely fashion, and takes ad...
Boy Earns Eagle Scout Building Lifetime Shed
Happy Birthday BSA! The Boy Scouts of America was incorporated and chartered by the United States Congress on February 8, 1910. That means this week, they are 101 years old! Last year, they reached a large milestone as they turned 100! In the summer of 2010, Lifetime received a phone call from a 14-year-old Scout named Mason. He was calling on behalf of the Spectrum program at the local Burton Elementary School in Layton, Utah (very close to Lifetimes headquarters). Spectrum is a program designed to provide activities for children who are academically gifted. Among their activities, they put on a play once a year, which we hear is a great performance. But he wasn't calling to talk just about the program; he was calling because the local Spectrum program had a problem that was putting their annual play in jeopardy. He had he...
