Have A Happy July 4th - Made in America!

Happy 235th Birthday, America!  As we celebrate our country's indepence this weekend, Lifetime is proud to be a part of this great nation and to be headquartered and manufacturing products made in the USA!  Like country singer Toby Keith says in his new song "Made in America", we love to hear when someone "spends a little more at the store for a tag in the back that says USA".

We hope all of you have a safe and relaxing July 4th holiday weekend…and take a little extra time to look for products with the "Made in USA" logo.  And, if you haven't heard it yet, enjoy Toby's song he performed at the 2011 CMT Music Awards ...

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

Pro Basketball in your Backyard
Okay, so the big boys from the pros wont actually be in your backyard, but you can deck your yard out to look every bit as professional. First off youre going to want to pick up a 98874 Mammoth In-Ground Basketball System from BuyLifetime.com. This setup is huge (72-inches) and professional quality just like youve likely seen in High Schools, Colleges, and even some professional sports teams. Once youve got your 98874 Mammoth you need to decide whether or not you you want a half-court or full- court game. The obvious answer if you want a full-court experience is to buy two 98874 Mammoth systems. That may not be an option for you, so why not consider a portable basketball system? With a portable basketball system you can wheel it to where the action is at game time, then wheel it away for storage after the final w...

Things I Learned When Registering My Lifetime Manta Kayak
Last week, we journeyed to Ohio for our annual summer vacation to visit my parents. While we were there, Lifetime shipped me a Lifetime Manta tandem kayak to use so I could share some personal experiences and reviews with you. But, before we could legally use the Lifetime Manta Kayak in Ohio public waters, we had to register it as a watercraft with the State of Ohio. Ideally, the process should be quick although, unfortunately, the day we went the service wasn't exactly speedy or friendly. But, we simply filled out a form with our contact information and kayak information, paid $25 for a 3 year registration (cost may vary with each state), and received our registration number and tag decal. Then, we headed to Walmart to buy the numbers to stick on the side of the kayak. That's it. Done. But, in case you are new (like me) to r...
