Second Annual "Salute Our Troops" Event Planned This Memorial Day at Lifetime Store

At Lifetime, we  strongly believe that part of our corporate responsibility as a successful business is to support our local community.  So, I am excited to tell you that this Memorial Day we will, once again, be hosting our "Salute Our Troops" event!waving-flag.jpg

This event will be held only at our Lifetime Store location in Riverdale, Utah.  On Memorial Day, 5 percent of our proceeds will be donated to the Utah Military Families Foundation (UMFF), a privately-funded non-profit organization headquartered at Hill Air Force Base that supports over 80,000 military families throughout Utah.

Lifetime Products is honored to be neighbors with Hill Air Force Base. So, this event is a way for Lifetime to thank our local military men and women - and their families - that sacrifice so much for our community and country.  And, it's a way for us to thank our entire local community for supporting us during the past 25 years!

Last year was the first year we held this "Salute Our Troops" event and it was an overwhelming success with over $1600 raised for UMFF!  We had so much fun at last year's event and this year's event promises to be even more fun-filled!  If you live in Utah, be sure and stop by for this one-day, free family event.

You know us - we LOVE giveaways!  So, you can be sure there will be lots of opportunities to win FREE Lifetime products!  You'll be able to take a shot in free throw contests to win a Lifetime Portable Basketball Hoop, make a guess to win a Lifetime wheelbarrow, and test your skills on the Lifetime Double Shot to win prizes and gift certificates.  Plus, they'll be lots to do for little tikes, too. Not only will kids will love playing on our playsets and teeter-totters, but we'll have treasure digging for prizes, face painting, coloring, and FREE ice cream!

Still not enough excitment for you? Ok, how about this... 97.1 FM will be doing a live broadcast from the store!  We'll be giving away American stick flags with every purchase, and of course we'll have lots of special 25 Year Anniversary and Memorial Day discounts.  And, don't forget, on Memorial Day and every day, the Lifetime Store offers a 10% military discount with valid ID.

If you live in Utah, we sure hope you can join us for this celebration!  And, we hope everyone takes time to remember the sacrifices made to celebrate this special holiday and has a safe and happy Memorial Day!

A Lifetime Christmas Shed Downtown
Since its beginning in 1962, Christmas Village in Ogden, Utah has grown to an extraordinary seasonal attraction. Each year thousands of tourists and citizens come to view the Christmas lights and cottages, drawing visitors from great distances as well as local families who have made it part of their holiday tradition. Spectators find themselves in a dazzling winter wonderland set aglow with Christmas lights and a unique setting of cottages modeled after Santas village at the North Pole. This year,Lifetimejoinedinthe local community Christmas tradition by transforming a Lifetime shed into a cottage. Complete with windows, flooring and steel trusses, the shed naturally made for a great cottage in this winter wonderland setting! The steel-reinforcements on its plastic walls and roof gave Santa, the elves, and their woodland fri...
Lifetime Garden Beds Are BPA Free
Some of you have asked if the plastic panels on the Lifetime Raised Garden Bed contain BPA (Bishphenol_A). Good question! BPA is a plasticizer that is used in the manufacturing of PVC (Polyvinyl chloride, recycling type 3 7) and other polycarbonate plastics to make them flexible. It is used mostly in flexible PVC piping, toys, plastic bottles, and the lining of some canned goods. In 2008, BPA became controversial as research indicated that it may be dangerous to our healthespecially to babies. The US Food and Drug Administration has now taken steps to reduce human exposure to BPA in our food supply and food containers. The good news is thatLifetime's plastic garden bed panels and the frost coverDO NOT contain BPA. They are a Green Product. We use high-density polyethylene plastic (HDPE, recycling code type 2), and non toxic...
Win TWO Picnic Tables for Your Summer BBQs!
This giveaway had ended. With backyard July 4th barbeques only a few weeks away, it's never too early to start planning the festivities. We want to join in the celebration fun too, so we are giving one lucky random winner the chance to seat their guests in style at a Lifetime Picnic Table this fourth of July! This isn't just any picnic table. This is the picnic table Lifetime invented in 1995 that swept the market and has been flying off shelves ever since. Why is it so popular? First, it has a blow-molded polyethylene tabletop that is maintenance free and easy to clean with a solid, one-piece surface so food and utensils can't fall through the cracks. But, what really makes it unique is that it quickly folds flat to store in the winter or to throw in the back of your truck to haul to the family reunion. If it's hard to envis...
