Win A Raised Garden Bed Kit!

April contest ended.jpgThis giveaway has ended.  Spring is here and Earth Day is this Friday, April 22!  What a great time to get outside and start planting your garden.  If you follow us regularly, you know we've been sharing a lot about our new Lifetime Raised Garden Bed Kits on this blog lately.  We've even shared a few video reviews of the product from people who have seen them in the stores and others who have tried them already.

These cool new Raised Garden Bed Kits are getting talked about quite a bit on our Facebook page.  Why all the talk?  Because this 4'x4' bed allows you to set up an entire garden in less than one hour! And, it includes an early start enclosure kit to turn the bed into a greenhouse.  Needless to say, they are quickly becoming a very popular product.   In some areas, they are selling so quickly it's hard to actually get your hands on one.  In fact, they aren't even available in the Lifetime Store online yet!  But, luckily we managed to snag one before it left the factory.  So, guess what?  We're going to make it easy for one lucky person to get a Lifetime Raised Garden Bed Kit by giving one away this month in honor or Earth Day!

Guess that means you better start figuring out what you want to plant... because you may just be this month's winner!

I have limited space in my yard, and the raised garden bed would be perfect for my porch, which gets full sun.

Raised bed gardening makes growing vegetables and flowers much easier. The 4'x4' size would make it simple to reach in for planting and harvesting. The early start enclosure would be perfect for planting during cool spring temperatures in Wisconsin.

I have a small backyard on the edge of a ravine with lots of trees that offer great shade, but isn't ideal for gardening. I would love to be able to garden on my deck which gets full sun most of the day. We're doing a windowbox herb garden, but would love a place to grow tomatoes, beans & zuccini. Yum!

I would like to win the raised garden bed kit for my parents. They are in their late 70's and can no longer get down on the ground to garden very easily. Both are avid gardeners and the raised garden bed would help them enjoy gardening again.

WOW...Just what I need to grow fresh veggies on my deck. My husband and I are trying to eat better and would love to grow a garden. We have a huge problem....WE LIVE ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF AN APARTMENT BUILDING!! This would fit perfect on our deck and would be a god send. With the economy being so bad and gas prices rising we here in Northern Michigan have been hit hard. This would be great because we could also put the veggies up in our little freezer to use all winter long...got my fingers crossed on this one!!

How to Get More Seating Around Your Patio Table
Are you planning a backyard picnic to celebrate the end of summer or upcoming Labor Day? Still trying to figure out where everyone can sit? If you're like me, you have a nice patio table and chair set, but it seems like I'm still always short just one or two chairsto be able to have everyone sit together. I could set up my Lifetime card table and folding chairs, but it feels awkward having two people dine by themselves away from the group. Well, here's a handy suggestion my mom shared with me that's the perfect solution to your seating dilemma. Typically, the chairs that come with a patio table are very comfy, but they are also usually very wide and feature arm rests. If you need to add a few extra seats to your patio table, simply use your Lifetime folding chairs instead of your bulky patio chairs and you'll have instant ex...
Lifetime Card Table Comparison
A few months ago, I posted some photos to show you a comparison of the size of Lifetime chairs to a typical folding chair. So, today, I thought I'd go ahead and show you how a Lifetime Card Table compares to a typical card table. First of all, what you may not realize, without having two card tables to compare side-by-side, is that a typical card table is 34" square while the Lifetime card table is actually 37". As you can see by the photo, this provides quite a bit of extra useable surface area. This extra space certainly comes in handy when I seat four people around the table to eat, piece together large puzzles, and more. And, don't worry, the table is still lightweight and easy to carry at just 19lbs. Speaking of weightthe Lifetime card table is engineered for superior strength and durability. In fact, the Lifetime card...
