25 Hoops for 25 Years Giveaway Begins!

25-hoops-giveaway-facebook.jpgA few weeks ago we unveiled our silver anniversary logo.  Lifetime Products and the first ever quickly adjustable basketball hoop are turning 25 this year… and it's time to celebrate! We have lots of fun things in store for you to create some "hoopla" around this milestone!

What better way to get this party started than by giving away 25 Lifetime Portable Basketball Hoops?  Wow, did I really just say that?  Yes!  25 hoops!  Giving them away…as in FREE!

Lifetime Products patented the first quick to adjust basketball hoop in 1986.  It may be a simple idea, but this invention revolutionized the residential basketball hoop industry because it allowed people of all ages, heights, and skill levels to play on the same hoop, in their driveway.  The instant it hit store shelves, people could buy home basketball hoops that adjusted in height in seconds, for the very first time. The hoop was called the Lifetime Quick Adjust®, and could be raised or lowered using a broom handle. This game-changing invention 25 years ago is what founded Lifetime Products as a company-- now the world leader in home basketball hoops

We’ll award at least two hoops each month for the rest of the 2011, with some months having a giveaway every week!  Each person may only enter once.  But, all entries will remain eligible to win each remaining giveaway until the end of the year.  That means you have 25 chances to win and you only have to enter one time!  All winners will be drawn at random. We will announce the winners on our Facebook page and keep a running list on Lifetime.com.   Simply put…just hurry to enter because you never know when the next drawing may be!

Ready to enter?  This one will work slightly different than our normal monthly giveaways.  So, click here to find out how!

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

Hey...We were on Danny Lipford!
Last weekend, we had a chance to finally see our sheds on national TV. Our shed was a featured product on "Today's Homeowner with Danny Lipford." We have had our products featured on literally hundreds of news stories and remote features, but this is the first time we have been built into the content of a show. About Danny: Danny Lipford, a veteran remodeling contractor, is an expert on homes and home improvement. As Host and Executive Producer of the nationally syndicated television show, Todays Homeowner with Danny Lipford, Danny helps viewers keep up with the latest home trends and understand the steps and products involved with both small and large home projects. In addition, Danny is in his eighth season as home improvement contributor on The Weather Channel and CBS The Early Show where he provides home tips and advi...
Folding Table Tips
In the months since weve started this blog, I've received several questions regarding Lifetime's fold-in-half tables... interestingly enough, most people ask the basic question: How do you to unfold them? Esther from Niceville, FL wrote in yesterday: "I just bought your 5 ft fold-in-half table. Its great, but I do not know how to open it up and there wasn't any directions. Sorry, I am 69 years old and not mechanically minded and am afraid that I might do something to mess it up..." How do you unfold it?? The first few times Ive seen this question, I admit, I thought it wouldnt be all that hard. But then I walked down to our showroom and tried to open a new table myself... it took a little more elbow grease thought! I looked into why this is, and it turns out our engineers developed these tables to stay safely closed when yo...
Haul Out the Sod
After spreading six yards of compost on our lawn, youd think we would be done with yard work, right? Nope, not us. We have a back corner of our yard that is heavily shaded by trees so the original Bermuda grass never grew. To make matters worse, our yard is sloped so what little grass we did have in that corner simply washed downhill. We really want to try and get grass to grow back there. Not just so it will be green and look nice, but because we have a tire swing back there and we have a ladder in that corner to climb the fence over to our neighbors house. Read between the lines...Im tired of having to wash muddy feet every time we come into the house! We did some research and we think weve found a grass that is pretty shade tolerant. So, last week, we put down some Palidsades Zoysia sod in that corner. Its a Texas grass d...
