Video Review of Lifetime Raised Garden Kit

A few months ago we told you about our newest lawn and garden product - the Lifetime Raised Garden Kits.   We are thrilled to tell you they are quickly becoming a very popular product!  These 4'x4' kits provide a full garden setup in less than one hour of easy do-it-yourself assembly with no tools required.

But, a lot of you may still be wondering if they are really that easy to assemble and if they really work.  Well, wonder no more!  If you're a loyal reader of this blog, you may be familiar with our fellow Geekstyle blogger, Joe.  It turns out that not only does Joe get geeky with techy things, but he also gets geeky about going green, too!

A few weeks ago, we gave Joe a Lifetime Raised Garden Kit to review and use on his personal green/gardening website called PathToGreenerLiving.com.  He created a detailed and in-depth video about the product, how to assemble it, and how to use it.  (He also gives you some handy tips and ideas for how to use the product, like using the cardboard from the Raised Garden Kit package as a ground barrier and composting the other packaging items.)

Even though Joe works for Lifetime, he's still going to share an honest review about what he likes and doesn't like about the product, and what works and doesn't work.  In fact, he's also going to do something really cool and grow potatoes in a Lifetime Raised Garden Kit with the early enclosure.  At the same time, he's also going to plant more potatoes in his wooden raised garden bed to see which garden grows faster and better.  So, we'll keep checking back with Joe over the next few months and share his future videos to let you know how his experiment is coming along.  We're anxious to see, as well!

If you have any questions for Joe about his experience or you want to share your own experiences about the Lifetime Raised Garden Kit, please leave us a comment below.

Relax This Summer!
So the first few weeks of Spring are fun to work in the yardthen, reality hits, and I remember how yard work can be a lot of hard work! One of my favorite products we sell is our Adirondack chair. This chair is perfect for chillin after pulling weeds and planting flowers. Made from Polystyrene a big word for a type of plastic that is made to look and feel like wood this chair is great looking! It is low to the ground and has a slight recline so its nice and comfortable. The wood-like material is stain resistant, and holds up well in the sun. It looks like wooden furniture, but you wont have to stain it every year. You can find our Adirondack chairs at your local Costco. A word of cautionwhen you tell your spouse youll be out weeding, dont let her find you sleeping in your Adirondack chairbeen there, done that, and the ou...
It’s Earth Day!
Its Earth Day! The perfect time to plant a tree, start your garden, start composting to reuse material, or simply . . . take your recycling out! At Lifetime, were conscious of our community and our role and responsibilities to the environment around us. Did you know that our products are made with a plastic called High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)? This type of plastic is what makes our products so durable and long-lasting. In making our HDPE products, all plastic materials not used in the initial process are reused! Not only that, but HDPE is an easily recyclable material. The other great part about producing HDPE is that its created using natural petroleum instead of fossil fuels, therefore making the process from start to finish, safer for all!
