Lifetime's New Convertible Bench

Convertible Bench 2.jpgWe are excited to announce our newest lawn and garden product…the revolutionary Lifetime Convertible Bench! The Lifetime Convertible Bench is a simulated wood garden bench that allows one person to easily convert single-handedly into a table in just seconds simply by squeezing a built-in handle and tipping the bench back. Additionally, when two Lifetime Convertible Benches are placed together in the table position, they create an instant, full-sized picnic table with attached benches.

Convertible Bench 3.jpgThe great thing is—it’s very versatile and allows you to maximize your outdoor living space. It is aesthetically appealing and can be used as a cozy park bench for day-to-day use and decor, or has the added convenience of being able to quickly convert it to a table with an attached bench seat for spontaneous extra dining or work areas when needed.

Convertible Bench 4.jpgConstructed with a powder-coated steel frame and weather-resistant simulated wood polystyrene seat and back slats, the Lifetime Convertible Bench is UV-protected to prevent fading, cracking, chipping, warping or peeling even in the harshest conditions. The Lifetime Convertible Bench is stain resistant and requires no painting or maintenance. In addition, the individual wood textured slats are aligned to allow for quick water drainage.

Convertible Bench.jpgConvertible Bench 5.jpgThe Lifetime Convertible Bench is designed to comfortably fit three adults, with a 57-inch seat. It also features easy in and out access of the seating area when in the table position. It is backed by a two-year warranty and retails for approximately $99. Currently, the Lifetime Convertible Bench is available at Costco Wholesale stores.

These Contertable Benches look great, but by any chance, is there any discussion of making these longer?

Hi Jeff, thanks for your question. There is no discussion to make it longer at this point, but we will take that into consideration. Thank you!

We bought one of these at Costco today, the display or last one to be exact. We would like to purchase at least one more, maybe two at the $99 Costco price so please send more to the Winchester, VA Costco.

We never saw this bench offered at the Costco in Central California (Goleta, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo). Are they still available thru Costco? Thanks!

Yes, they should be available at Costco country wide. It may be helpful to ask the store manager. They are also available starting May 1st at the Lifetime Online Store. We offer free shipping in the USA.

Hi Jeannine! We appreciate the feedback. Unfortunately, most Costco stores have sold out of the Lifetime Convertible Bench however, you can order one online through Costco.com or BuyLifetime.com. Best of luck!

This is a great idea! I just wish it came in different lengths! I need something like this, for INDOOR use, but I need something long enough to sit 4 adults, side-by-side. I need something like this, probably in an 8 foot long version! Putting two of these side-by-side, would be too long for the room I need them in. Can you make this unit in an 8' length? If so, what would it cost?

Glad you like it, and thanks for the suggestion. We will look into what it would take to make a bigger bench.

Santa's Secret Shed
Shhhhhh. Don't tell my kids. The other day I talked with Santa at the mall and he informed me he is bringing my little girl a play kitchen. I'm so excited, she's going to love it! However, Santa was a bit concerned because the box is so big. He was worried that with such a big box he may not be able to fit everything in his sleigh on Christmas Eve. So, he asked if there was any possible way he could deliver the present early and hide it at our house until Christmas Eve when he'll put it under the tree. Yikes! At first I thought there was no possible way I'd be able to hide a present that large at our house. WAIT! Ding, ding! I just remembered the new Lifetime shed that we built in our backyard. It'san8'x5' shedso it has plenty of room to hide a play kitchen box. However, my son does likes to play in there sometimes and pret...
Hang on! Let's Go 4-Wheeling with Our Yard Cart!
Good friends help friends in need. We had friends who needed to spread 13 yards of dirt on their lawn, so we loaned them our Lifetime Yard Cart to help make their work easier. What? Did you think I was going to say I offered to actually help spread the dirt? Hey, I said we were good friends, not great friends! (Just kidding. Marc Jenna, we love you guys!) Truth be told, the Lifetime Yard Cart was practically screaming for Marc and Jenna to borrow it. Why? Because Marc and Jenna live on an acre lot AND they own a 4-wheeler that can pull the Yard Cart in the trailer mode. This is the kind of dream job the Lifetime Yard Cart was built for. The measly six yards of compost that we spread on our yard by pushing the Yard Cart like a wheelbarrow was mere childs play compared the massive job that Marc and Jenna were going to tackle....
Happy (Early) Father's Day to Our Shed Giveaway Winner!
Thanks to everyone who entered this month's giveaway to try and win the Lifetime 7'x7'Shed for their Dad for Father's Day. We received some very touching stories about how much your Dads mean to you and why you wanted to win this shed for Dad. But, in the end, the winner picked by random.org was Sonya R. of Knoxville, TX. Congrats, Sonya. We hope your husband enjoys this year's Father's Day present for years to come! We also heard some great feedback about which features you liked best about this relatively-new Lifetime 7'x7' Shed. By far (and not surprisingly), the feature most of you liked the best was the full-length roof skylight. That's a pretty awesome addition to a shed! Other popular answers were the shatterproof windows that open and the customizable shelving. If you fell in love with this shed but weren't the luck...
