Lifetime in Hawaii

IMG_0986.JPGThis year for Christmas, my family decided to take a vacation to Maui, Hawaii. My mom is the only one who had ever been to Hawaii before and that was years ago, so we were all pretty excited. It turned out to be one of my family’s favorite vacations. We absolutely loved it and were able to get the most out of our time. From seeing amazing ocean life while snorkeling, to driving down a tiny, windy road through the tropical Hawaiian jungle, we were able to take full advantage of the beautiful island.

As everyone knows, one of the main Hawaiian traditions is the luau. If you go to Hawaii, attending a luau is a must! The dancing is wonderful, and there is no better way to experience Hawaiian culture and tradition. Our hotel hosted a nightly luau, and much to my surprise, guess what tables and chairs were used.....that’s right, they were from Lifetime! It was so exciting to see that our products have made it out to a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. But after thinking about it, I shouldn’t have been that surprised. Our products are now available in over 58 countries worldwide and we are the leading manufacturer of polyethylene folding tables and chairs. With a set up to accommodate at least 300-400 people, they would definitely need strong, affordable, lightweight tables and chairs to meet their needs. I’m just happy they knew to go with Lifetime!

An all new www.Lifetime.com
Over here at Lifetime Products Mission Control, we try to keep our flagship website up-to-date not only with the latest content, but also with the latest in techology and design. When we visit websites we tend to like the ones that frequently update their content; have a clean, easy to use navigation scheme; and are fun to interact with. We think these kinds of sites encourage people to come back (that's called "repeat viewership" in web lingo) and to explore the site (that's called "multiple page views"). So, we added some flash, we added some interesting articles, and much more before wrapping it all up in a fancy new design that we hope you'll love! Why don't you head on over to www.Lifetime.com, surf around a little bit, then come back here and let us know what you think!
Re-inventing the Wheel(barrow)
It is speculated that the wheelbarrow had it’s beginnings as early as 100 B.C., it’s original design being a simple platform or basket with a large wheel underneath and a pair of handles which the operator used to push it along. It was obviously designed as a “carrier”, and the loads it has carried have varied widely throughout the years. Spanning many cultures all over the world, it has been a vital piece of equipment in a variety of occupations. Wheelbarrows have a long and honorable history. They have been used in early military operations to transport supplies and injured soldiers. Various forms and designs have been found throughout history to transport produce and carry building materials for construction. Wheelbarrows were crucial to world-wide mining operations as well. While the wheelbarrow is still vital to such ...
How to Properly Fill a Portable Basketball Base
Now that you've had some time to assemble that new Lifetime Portable Basketball System you got for Christmas, let's cover a few important things that every basketball hoop owner should know. (Yes, that means this is important for you to read even if you aren't a brand new basketball hoop owner.) Portable basketball systems are convenient. You can purchase a Lifetime Basketball System and be playing basketball the same day. However, when you assemble a portable basketball system, it is important to always follow the manufacturer's instructions very carefully. And, that means right down to the final instruction about filling your portable base. I have seen lots of systems with weights, bags of cement, or bricks on top of the base to hold it down - like in these pictures. This is a big "no-no" and very dangerous. We rigorously ...
