How My Blog Posts Unfold

sidewalk1.jpgWhen Lifetime started this blog nearly three years ago, it was with the intention of showing you how we all incorporate Lifetime products into our everyday lives.  Today, this blog has grown into so much more.  But, every once in a while, I still like to share just the normal, everyday stories about using Lifetime products.  Sometimes I really have to think, ponder, and put on my creative hat to come up with my lifestyle blog post ideas.  Other times, they just unfold right before my eyes - literally.

Look at these photos.  You probably think I purposely set up my Lifetime Card Table and Chairs just for a photo op.  Nope.  The other day I went to the grocery store while my husband stayed home with the kiddos.  When I pulled in the driveway, I was welcomed by this absolute cutest scene adorning my sidewalk.  It was a beautiful, sunny Fall day and the kids wanted to play outside. So, they asked Daddy if he would set up our Lifetime Card Table (ok, to be fair, I'm sure they just called it "the table in the closet") on the front sidewalk so they could play games outside.

So, smack dab in the middle of our sidewalk with their radio blaring children's songs behind them, my kids played everything from Operation to coloring for nearly two hours using our Lifetime table and chairs.  They were having so much fun they even ate their lunch outside and built a train track to go around their plates on the table.

That's it.  Pure childhood innocence.  (Sure, I could remind you how great Lifetime tables and chairs are for outside use since they're made out of high-impact polyethylene and powder-coated steel etc.  But, I won't…although I guess I just did.)  This is just a simple, adorable testimonial of how Lifetime products really, truly are designed For The Way You Live.™sidewalk2.jpg

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

Narrow 18" Table Saves Space
We all use folding tables for a variety of reasons. Just think of how you use your tables. You can probably think of a few different uses, right? At Lifetime, we provide affordable quality tables in all shapes and sizes for that exact reason. For dining and eating, a standard banquet style table works really well - the 30-inch wide surface provides the right amount of space to lay out the food and still give you room for plates and table settings across from each other. Now, the question I pose today is what about the times when you just need to display food in a buffet style and you need to keep the table out of the way?Well, a great option for you would be to use one of our 18-inch wide LifetimeConference Tables as that perfect buffet table for the home, office, or church get together. This style of table is a recent addit...
Rich Snippets: Coming Soon to a Search Engine Near You!
Search engines not only display content, they spider web pages, gathering information from your pages, then re-work all that information into a listing that searchers see when they're looking for stuff -- and the cycle is complete. When a person goes to a search engine they have a good idea of what theyre looking for (otherwise they'll be on StumbleUpon, right?). With millions of search results being found and displayed, sometimes it's hard for people to find what they're looking for among all those results. To help combat that, Google is trying to show searchers more information about their search results. Information about information? That sounds a lot like meta-data! Yes, yes it does! Here at Lifetime, we're starting to roll out web pages that will take advantage of Google's "Rich Snippits" to get more information...
