3 Lucky Winners This Month!

money.JPGThe gift giving started a little early this year as we helped spread a little holiday cheer this morning to three people who will get to pick a Lifetime product to go under their tree!   Congratulations to our following random winners who will receive gift certificates redeemable online in our Lifetime Store:

Jeff G. of Houston, TX - $300
Clint P. of Kaysville, Utah - $150
Linsey G. of West Haven, Utah - $50

Thanks to all of you who took the time to enter this month's giveaway.  It was such a delight to read what everyone has on their wish list from Lifetime Products.  Some of you are hoping Santa knows you've been really, really nice this year and will bring you five or six Lifetime products!  Others of you simply want your stocking filled with a new shed light.  But, the most popular items most of you want to see in Santa's sleigh this year are an Ace Flyer Teeter-Totter and a Basketball Hoop.

No matter what is on your shopping or wish list, we hope all of you have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season.  And, watch for our next giveaway to start in January after all of the holiday hustle and bustle has melted away!

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

Thank you Lifetime for the opportunity to win these Gift Certificates. I know exactly what I'll use mine for. A new 6' folding table! I will then spray paint the legs electric pink. Maybe then it will stay in my craft room and not end up in my husband's workshop! Thanks again Lifetime for this great giveaway!

And the Winner of the Picnic Table Is….
... Brett R. of Logan, Utah! Brett is the lucky random winner of our June contest. Thanks to all of you who entered this month. As the winner, Brett will receive one of our new A-frame 6' picnic tables which is maintenance free - it can endure weathering without chipping, cracking, peeling, or rusting. The table also featuresan umbrella hole and folds completely flat for storage. And, since the polyethylene tabletop is stain resistant, spilled ketchup or baked beans will be easy for Brett to clean at his July 4th BBQ this year! Another great feature of this Lifetime picnic table is that it is lightweight and easy to move, whichBrettwill behappy to hear since he actually said in his entry that he was looking for a picnic table that is easy to move around to use on his patio and for camping. He also wanted a table that was eas...
What is Blow Molding?
Blow molding. You hear us say it over-and-over again when we talk about our products. But, what does that really mean? In case you don't know, today I'll give you a quick explanation and show you a few photos to, hopefully, help you understand the process of blow molding a little better. Every plastic product that Lifetime makes starts as white plastic pellets, like in this picture. These pellets are hauled in on train cars to our factory. We usenearly 400train cars of pellets per year! The plastic pellets are then pumped to our outdoor silos and then to the building silos. (If you live near our factory in Utah, you may have noticed a new Lifetime logo towering in the skies. The logo is on our newest silo that stores these plastic pellets.) The plastic pellets are then heated by pressure and colored pellets are added at thi...
Lifetime Employees Test Drive 2012 Kayak Line
Every year, the Lifetimesales and marketing team attends an internal Sales and Marketing Conference. This year, things were a bit different. We had 30 kayaks and paddle boards to test paddle at Sand Hollow -one of the most scenic reservoirs in Utah.It is exhausting just to think about..exhausting in a good way, of course! To kick things off with our kayak training a few weeks ago, we began with a training clinic and question and answer period. Many of our employees are just like you - they are a beginner or are just getting into the sport of kayaking. Our more advanced staff members were excited to help out as well. This was exciting for me as I love to share my love of paddle sports with anyone who will listen.or paddle. :)I discussed paddle techniques, sitting in your kayak, and the differences in kayak styles. As you can se...
