Name- Jan

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

A Lifetime Christmas Shed Downtown
Since its beginning in 1962, Christmas Village in Ogden, Utah has grown to an extraordinary seasonal attraction. Each year thousands of tourists and citizens come to view the Christmas lights and cottages, drawing visitors from great distances as well as local families who have made it part of their holiday tradition. Spectators find themselves in a dazzling winter wonderland set aglow with Christmas lights and a unique setting of cottages modeled after Santas village at the North Pole. This year,Lifetimejoinedinthe local community Christmas tradition by transforming a Lifetime shed into a cottage. Complete with windows, flooring and steel trusses, the shed naturally made for a great cottage in this winter wonderland setting! The steel-reinforcements on its plastic walls and roof gave Santa, the elves, and their woodland fri...
Sizing Up a Lifetime Manta Kayak
A few weeks ago, I shared with you some things I learned when registering my new Lifetime Manta Kayak, and promised I would share a review with you soon of my experience using the tandem kayak. So, today is the day. First, a little info about my kayaking background. Not much to tell really. I'll be honest; I've only done it a few times. I've paddled around a lake and played kayakfootball on the sit-on-top Lifetime Daylite and Calypso kayaks, and I have paddled on a lake and several miles on a river in a Swifty Islander sit-inside kayak. So, in my mind, I was expecting the tandem Lifetime Manta Kayak to be similar in size to some of the previous individual kayaks I have paddled. But, my first impression of the Lifetime Manta Kayak? "Whoa, this thing is big." Even though I have seen tons of pictures of Lifetime's tandem kayak...
Card Table and Chairs - A Wedding Gift of Yesteryear?
I'm not a wedding expert, but I think it's safe to say that wedding gifts have changed over the years. Or, at least the way we decide what to give as a wedding gift. Today, the happy couple typically registers at their favorite store for gifts they want or think they need for their new home. So, a majority of gift givers simply pick something off the list or give a gift card so the couple can make their own purchase. Sure, this method has some advantages. But, in most instances, gone are the days of creative gift giving. Case and point I can't remember the last time I was at a wedding and saw a card table and chairs sitting there as a gift. But apparently, once upon a time, a card table and chairs was a popular wedding gift. We had numerous entrants to this month's giveaway who said they currently own a card table that was gi...
