Win a Lifetime Shed in Honor of Labor Day!

This contest is now closed.

Happy Labor Day!  Our country set aside this day back in 1882 to honor the achievements of American workers.  At Lifetime, we are proud to have more 1,200 workers at our Clearfield, Utah headquarters who are a part of the Lifetime team.  Thank you, Lifetime employees!

In the spirit of Labor Day and to recognize the quality work of our employees, for this month's giveaway we're offering one of the biggest products we make that proudly boasts the "Made in the USA" label - a Lifetime shed! Yes, that's right, one lucky random winner will receive a Lifetime 8'x5' shed!  (Whoa, this our biggest giveaway of the year!)

With Fall just a few weeks away, it's time to start storing summer toys, lawn equipment, and patio furniture for winter, and the Lifetime 8'x5' shed is the perfect storage solution. Believe me, I know from personal experience.  I have a Lifetime 8'x5' shed in my own backyard and it's fantastic.  We use it to keep our lawn mower, weed-eater, Lifetime wheelbarrow, and other gardening equipment. This maintenance-free shed you could win features a window that opens, roof vents, double doors, shelves, peg strips, and more.  Plus, a 10-year warranty.  For full product details, click here.

So, who's ready to join in our Labor Day salute and enter to win a Lifetime shed?

How to enter:

  1. Send an e-mail to PR@lifetime.com with the subject line "September contest".
  2. Tell us what you plan to keep in your Lifetime shed if you win.

All my wife's junk from the patio: tables, chairs and more tables and chairs.  A few garden tools and the shed is full.

Thanks,

I'll probably win this shed because later today I'm ordering your shed model # 6402.

I would keep in my shed, my lawn spreader, lawn mower, rakes, shovels, hoses, extra garbage cans, metal round tub, small fencing.  We definitely need a new shed.  We had a tornado and from the neighbor's tree a huge branch fell onto my shed and now it is dented and leaks.

in my home there are 12 people that live in my house and that number does include children.  Our garage is full of children's toys and bikes. Our car is parked outside the house.  We need a shed to store all children's toys and to help the house look nice.

Impromptu Kids' Picnic Table
I know, I know. You're probably getting tired of hearing about my Lifetime Spring Break stories. But, I can't help it! There were just too many to share. But, I promise, this is my last one...at least for Spring Break 2009. :) The weather during Spring Break was absolutely gorgeous. We spent practically every waking minute outside. So, it was no surprise that my kids wanted to eat lunch outside on the little tiny condo balcony one day. (And, I do mean tiny!) At home, my kids eat outside quite often on their own little kids' picnic table. But, the only patio furniture at the condo were tall, bar-height chairs designed so you could see over the railing to view the ocean...not exactly conducive for short, fidgety kids. So, we had to improvise. Sure, we could have just let them eat on a blanket on the ground, but they wanted a ...
Thanksgiving Kids' Table
Gathering extended family together on Thanksgiving Day adds quality to life. There is excitement in the air as guests start to arrive and greet each other and catch up. Children especially love to visit their cousins at the holidays. When entertaining, always keep in mind that invited children are guests too. Having an activity table for the kids that can double as a dining table can be invaluable at holiday gatherings. My six grandchildren love to have their own kids' table with activities. On a busy day like Thanksgiving, offer crafts that are simple and fun. Try these easy ideas to keep your young guests entertained. As always for safety, adult supervision is required. Set up a Lifetime Childrens Folding Picnic Table and cover with a sheet of white butcher paper and fasten with tape. Have washable markers and show the ...
Rich Snippets: Coming Soon to a Search Engine Near You!
Search engines not only display content, they spider web pages, gathering information from your pages, then re-work all that information into a listing that searchers see when they're looking for stuff -- and the cycle is complete. When a person goes to a search engine they have a good idea of what theyre looking for (otherwise they'll be on StumbleUpon, right?). With millions of search results being found and displayed, sometimes it's hard for people to find what they're looking for among all those results. To help combat that, Google is trying to show searchers more information about their search results. Information about information? That sounds a lot like meta-data! Yes, yes it does! Here at Lifetime, we're starting to roll out web pages that will take advantage of Google's "Rich Snippits" to get more information...
