Tetherball or Soccer Goal? Tell Us What to Giveaway!

Summer is winding done and with the cooler temps on their way, it's the perfect time for kids to head outside for some fun activities.  So, for this month's giveaway, we want to offer a product that's sure to be an outdoor hit and one the whole family can get a kick out of.  Hee, hee.  (Sorry about the pun.)

The problem is, I'm tossing around two great ideas for product giveaways and I just can't decide which one to serve to you.  (Yep, more puns).  So, YOU get to help me decide!  Would you rather we give away a Lifetime Portable Tetherball System OR a Lifetime Adjustable Height Portable Soccer Goal?

The Lifetime Portable Tetherball System brings the childhood schoolyard game home to your backyard.  The system is designed with a convenient portable base, similar to our portable basketball systems.  Just fill the base with sand or water and you're ready to start taking a swing!

The new Lifetime Adjustable Height Portable Soccer Goal has an innovative telescoping  feature which allows you to adjust the height of the goal from 4ft to 5 ft to 6ft and adjust the width accordingly. Hinged steel poles use locking pins to set in place and provide stability for the goal during play. After the game simply fold the poles in half for easy transportation. And, it only takes one adult and a couple of minutes to erect this adjustable height portable soccer goal. No assembly or tools required.

Visit our website or Lifetime Online Store to learn more details about these two products.  Then, tell us which one YOU want us to giveaway!  Simply leave a comment on the bottom of this blog or leave a message on our Facebook page letting us know your pick. (Only one comment per person, please)   Whichever product has the most comments by Sunday, August 8 at midnight is the one we'll give away!

Can't wait to hear which one YOU want...

I would definitely go for the Soccer Goal due to its superior ability to adjust itself in size for a variety of circumstances and activities, as well as its ingenius ability to become compact enough to place in the trunk of my car.

Soccer is my family's sport and this product will be perfect to set up in the backyard or the local park. Also, my wife and I have coached little league soccer, so this would be perfect for practice anywhere. I am definitely planning on purchasing a pair of these when I get home... unless I win a set!

Tetherball is definately what I would choose.  My grandkids would love to play it in our backyard.  It is a game all kids can enjoy.

How to Get More Seating Around Your Patio Table
Are you planning a backyard picnic to celebrate the end of summer or upcoming Labor Day? Still trying to figure out where everyone can sit? If you're like me, you have a nice patio table and chair set, but it seems like I'm still always short just one or two chairsto be able to have everyone sit together. I could set up my Lifetime card table and folding chairs, but it feels awkward having two people dine by themselves away from the group. Well, here's a handy suggestion my mom shared with me that's the perfect solution to your seating dilemma. Typically, the chairs that come with a patio table are very comfy, but they are also usually very wide and feature arm rests. If you need to add a few extra seats to your patio table, simply use your Lifetime folding chairs instead of your bulky patio chairs and you'll have instant ex...
What Are Those Fancy Bar Codes?
Bar codes help make life easier from manufacturing all the way through the supply chain, and up to the check-out register. While you're shopping for products, you can look for better deals and more information by scanning traditional UPCs with your phone, an app, and an internet connection. Pretty cool, right? Something new that you may have seen cropping up on billboards, articles, advertisements, and even product displays and packaging is a new kind of bar code, a 2D barcode. These new 2D barcodes are also called a QR code which is short for quick response. UPCs are a 1D (one-dimensional) type of bar code. Traditionally, a laser is used to illuminate a thin stripe across the barcode. A 2D barcode contains multiple lines of information and require multiple lasers to read. Since not many of us carry lasers around in our poc...
Utah's Historic Windy Day
Wow, what a week we just had. Lifetime is headquartered in Clearfield Utah. Clearfield is in North Davis County. Davis County, asyou may have heard on the national news, was the sight of some historically strong winds on Thursday, December 1. The mountains we have here typically shield us from things like tornadoes, but when the jet stream is just right, wind is forced up the Wasatch mountains and slams down on us. This only happens every 10 to 15 years. Early Thursday morning we woke up at my house to the fence missing, the trampoline missing, and flying debris. The winds were so strong that to go outside was dangerous as debris of all shapes and sizes was flying around. The National Weather Service said the winds reached up to 100 MPH. These are the same wind speeds you find in a category 2 hurricane. By the time it calmed...
