Introducing the New Lifetime Tru-Motion Cane!

Entering yet another exciting new product category, the Lifetime Tru-Motion Cane is a revolutionary walking implement that provides unmatched safety, stability, and mobility. Lifetime Products is always exploring new product lines and is excited to break into the healthcare industry with this innovative product. The style and design of the Tru-Motion Cane facilitates a natural, full-range cadence, giving you consistent, reliable feedback to increase your mobility and confidence in your walking pattern.

Unlike quad or single point canes, the Tru-Motion Cane has a curved foot to improve mobility by facilitating a more natural, full-range walking motion. Regardless of the length of your stride or the angle at which you hold the cane, it gives consistent feedback and a sturdy connection throughout the entire gait, allowing you to maintain your own natural cadence. When the user is able to apply their natural, full-range walking pattern, it results in less energy expenditure and facilitates a healthy, upright gait.

Designed by Lifetime and Tru-Motion Dynamics, the Tru-Motion Cane provides the advanced support of a quad cane with the mobility of a single-point cane. Utilizing patented technology to support correct posture and increase stability, it provides a consistent, steady contact on any surface.

The Tru-Motion Cane received the Merit Award at the Medtrade Spring show held in Las Vegas. The award is given to the product that best exemplifies improvements in quality of life, and is based on attendee votes. Medtrade Spring is the largest event in the home medical equipment industry, with over 5,000 attendees. Although the Lifetime Tru-Motion cane is not yet available for retail purchase, it is currently being used in rehabilitation facilities across the nation including: UCLA, USC, UNLV, ASU, UC, Kaiser Permanent, Craig Hospital, and IHC Hospitals. If you are interested in trying out the Tru-Motion Cane, talk to your doctor or find it on the Lifetime Online Store.

Maintaining a Healthy Lawn
Many homeowners are concerned about the environment and are looking for ways to maintain their yard without having to use harmful chemicals. One area that gets a lot of attention is the lawn. With an organic lawn care approach, gardeners are finding they can have a thick, lush, and green lawn thats safe for wildlife, pets, and people too. The keys to success include: growing the right grass variety for your area, aerating, dethatching, feeding your lawn properly, and mowing your lawn at the right height. Heres what to do to transition into growing a healthier lawn: Use the Right GrassGrow grass varieties adapted to your climate. In the North, choose cool season grasses, such as Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue, and perennial ryegrass. In the South, use warm season grasses such as, Bermuda grass, St. Augustine grass, and zoysi...
Have you started composting?
For most of us in the Lifetime family, winter is on its way out. What does that mean? Time to start cooking compost! For those who dont know, Lifetime Products makes a Composter! (You can read all about it in my previous post.) The question was asked How do I separate my compost from my non-composted organic matter? Good question! First would be getting another composter. One composter would be for actually making compost in while the other would be for filling up. When youre done making compost in one, you can empty it and start using it as your filler and the other as your composter. Of course, this means buying two of our composters, which we wouldnt mind at all. ;) The second idea is what I do with my single Lifetime Composter at my house. I cant fill the thing - as soon as it gets full, the composting proces...
