Winner Picked Most Popular Table

Congrats to our May contest winner - Don Y. of Valley Center, California.  This month, we let YOU pick the prize you wanted to win!  All our readers had to do was tell us which Lifetime table they wanted and why, and one random winner received the table of his/her choice!  Thanks to everyone who entered and shared their reasons for wanting/needing a Lifetime table.

Our winner Don picked a 6' Lifetime picnic table with umbrella hole -  which was also the most popular Lifetime table requested during this contest!  Summer is almost here and people obviously are gearing up for outdoor activities and picnics because the second most popular table was the Lifetime 44" Round Picnic Table with Swing-Out Benches, while the Lifetime Kids' Picnic table was the third most requested table. All of these picnic tables are available for purchase in our Lifetime Online Store in case you weren't the lucky winner but still want one!

Want to try to win another great Lifetime prize?  Visit www.pinchingyourpennies.com because today through Saturday they are giving away a Lifetime Ace Flyer Teeter Totter valued at $285!   To enter you simply have to leave a comment on their blog.  And, you can even get an extra bonus entry just by following Lifetime on Facebook after you leave a blog comment!  Click here for full details and good luck!

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

What's in a name?
Interesting littlestory here. Irecently received this email from Joanne Nelson of Exeter, Rhode Island: I purchased a Lifetime Personal Table several years ago and I love it. I am a quilter and this little table goes with me when I go to classes because I can set my sewing machine on it and adjust the height to exactly what I need so it is ergonomically correct for my sitting position However... I recently brought my table to a quilting retreat to let a 84 yr old lady, who is tiny, borrow my table so she could sew comfortably for the 5 day retreat. She was so happy about the table that I wanted to buy one for her. I found one and brought it home only to be very disappointed in the redesign of it. My table has metal legs and they are secured into a metal frame work so the legs can't come out very easily by accident if the t...
Garage Clean Out
Have you ever seen a garage that is so jam-packed with boxes and other stuff that theres no room to park a car in there? Wait. . .did I just describe your garage? In Arizona, where Ive lived for the last seven years, basements and attics are a rarity, which leaves the garage as the sole storage place. Not surprisingly, we see a lot of cars parked in the driveway! But it doesnt have to be that way. Assuming that you would LIKE to be able to park your car in your garage, let me ask you a few questions: Whats in your garage? A lot of things that end up in our garage are there because we just didnt have the courage to keep walking them to the curb. Look around. What do you see? To get a really good idea of what you have, group like items; for example, lawn and garden, camping equipment, holiday decorations, etc. Would you rath...
Judging the Weber School District Science Fair
About a week ago, six of our Lifetime employees (mostly Engineers and Information Technicians) volunteered to help judge the Weber School District Science Fair. The two-day fair took place at Weber State University with more than 700 students ranging from sixth to twelfth grade. Judges reviewed the exhibits and interviewed students on their use of scientific thought, methods, visual appearance and creativity.Categories included: Behavioral Studies, Botany, Chemistry, Earth Space, Energy Transportation, Engineering Computer Science, Environmental, Medicine Health, Microbiology, Physics Math and Zoology. The fair brought in an average of 200 to 300 people which included parents, college students and the general public. Each of the judges had fun learning about the different subjects from how safe your drinking water is t...
