What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

I forgot to mention on my entry why I need this table and it is because there is nothing on my patio to sit on and the 44-inch round picnic table would fit perfectly out there.

Your Heavy Duty 6 ft folding Picnic Table # 2120 would make our Lifetime N60015 Building on our pond complete for our grandchildren.

My folding trailer is so good, I want to spread the word about more Lifetime Products whenever I go camping with my friends. The new Jack trailer looks like something I need, too! Especially if I had a Lifetime 8 ft Commercial Foldable Picnic Table to gather the gang around. Heck, I could even use it other ways.

The Pre-School Experiment
If you run a pre-school, a day care, or just have children at home, you probably know all too well what creative littleones can do to furniture. I neither have children, nor have I taught children. But Ive seen Daddy Day Care and that was enough to know that things break when children are invited to do their worst. If children were to work with our Research and Design lab, I think theyd come up with some interesting new tests. I remember using Lifetime Banquet Tables as slides in our game room. Then my sisters and I would put foam mats on top of them and use them as tall beds for sleepovers. I have a vague memory of reenacting the princess and the pea once lucky for me, no injuries were incurred. Anyway, the other day a co-worker gavegave mean ingenious idea-- The Pre-School Experiment. She suggested that we donate a Lifetim...
Judging the Weber School District Science Fair
About a week ago, six of our Lifetime employees (mostly Engineers and Information Technicians) volunteered to help judge the Weber School District Science Fair. The two-day fair took place at Weber State University with more than 700 students ranging from sixth to twelfth grade. Judges reviewed the exhibits and interviewed students on their use of scientific thought, methods, visual appearance and creativity.Categories included: Behavioral Studies, Botany, Chemistry, Earth Space, Energy Transportation, Engineering Computer Science, Environmental, Medicine Health, Microbiology, Physics Math and Zoology. The fair brought in an average of 200 to 300 people which included parents, college students and the general public. Each of the judges had fun learning about the different subjects from how safe your drinking water is t...
The Office Basketball Shot: Catch You on the Flippity Flip!
Like 7,742,484 other people, I followNBC's The Office on Facebook and I'm a big fan of the show. Last night's tear-jerker was a great way tosay goodbye tothe Michael Scott we have come to love, andbegin to closetheir seventh season. As part of the usual Thursday night ritual, I was curled up on the couch with a bowl of dinner and myfavorite throw. I think I speak for all"Office Fans" at Lifetime whenI say I wasSO EXCITED to see Michael Scott missing basketball shots on aLifetime basketball hoop! As Steve Carrell tossed the ballbehind his shoulder, saying"catch you guys on the flippity flip!" he constantly shot toward aportable Lifetime basketball hoop...until he finally made it.It must have been a fun shot to produce,it looks like they used the adjustable height feature and lowered the hoop to the lowest setting, and Michae...
