What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

Last Minute Homemade Lifetime Halloween Costumes
A few days ago we helped my son Nathan make his first homemade Halloween costume. Im embarrassed to admit, but this is the first year we have fully embraced the fun and festivities and attempted a homemade costume. Ive always wanted to, but normally Nathan has always eyed something in the store that he really wanted to be like Elmo, a spider etc. (except last year when he wanted to wear his own flight suit to be a fighter pilot like Daddy!). And, it just made things a lot easier anyway. This year Nathan is really into Disneys Wall-E, and robots in general. So, we made our own robot. First, we spray painted two rectangular boxes with silver metallic paint. Next, we cut the bottom out of the body box, and we also cut a head hole and arm holes. In the smaller head box, we cut out a big rectangle for his face to poke through. Th...
A Game You Can “Settle” On
With The Holidays fast approaching, I want to share another reason to pull out that Lifetime Card Table and Folding Chairs and gather family and friends together near the fireplace. The game board is obviously different. It is comprised of several hexagonal tiles randomly arranged into the shape of a large hexagon. Since the tiles will almost certainly be arranged differently for every game, each game will be different. Each tile represents a particular resource such as wood, brick, sheep, ore, or wheat. Each turn, a roll of the two dice determines which hexes produce res...
I Mulch, You Mulch, We All Mulch
This past Saturday was yard day at our house. Nine solid hours of pruning trees, trimming bushes, pulling weeds, planting flowers, and spreading mulch. (Why didnt someone remind me that my hamstrings will be extremely sore from bending over all day. Its been two days and I still cant sit down without using my arms to lower myself!) Its the project we tackle every spring. I actually look forward to it. I love being outdoors and feeling productive. (Of course, that enthusiasm quickly fades after the first few hours which is why we plow through it all in one day.) Our backyard has several forests as my kids call them, which are really just large clusters of trees with mulch around them. Very pretty, but itrequires a lot of mulch - over three yards (or pick-up trucks full) to be exact. This year, we turned the mulching into a f...
