New Kayaks Are Making a Big Splash

We are pleased to announce the latest addition to the Lifetime Online Store--(drum roll. Splash!) Kayaks! Lifetime Products is now offering the Calypso kayak at an amazing affordable price to fit your active lifestyle and your budget. This 8 ft kayak can accommodate one adult with a spot for one child in the front as well. This is the perfect beginner's kayak because it is designed for stability, not speed. Perfect for paddling around on lakes and ponds.

The Lifetime Calypso kayak is a one-piece construction of high-density polyethylene plastic--smooth contours with no protruding hardware. This is a durable, lightweight water craft that you can just toss into the back of your vehicle and head for the water. You'll especially appreciate all the handy built-in features like multiple footrest positions, ditty trays, a fishing pole holder, mast receiver, paddle cradle, and cut-out side-carry handle as well as a towing handle that can be attached to front or rear of the kayak. Great for fishing, surfing, or sailing. Personally, I can't think of a more enjoyable way to wile away the hours. Give this kayak a try and I think you'll agree.

Like all Lifetime products, this Lifetime Calypso kayak is designed for the way you live; handy innovative features that make it durable, easy to use, and lots of fun. Check out our online catalog at buylifetime.com for more exciting kayak models including youth kayaks and the Sport Fisher kayak.  We're sure you're going to be just as excited about our new kayaks as we are!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: For our faithful blog readers, we will be offering a limited time discount on the products I feature in my articles. Position at Lifetime Products: I'm a web content writer for our buylifetime website. I create the content for our online catalog and provide you with the detailed specs and product information you need.

Topics I Blog About: are all of the different Lifetime products we have to offer that will make your work easier and your R&R more enjoyable. I will keep you posted about all of the sales, discounts, and clearances we have on Lifetime products.

My favorite Lifetime Products: are the Lifetime tent trailer and the camping table because camping and camp cooking are two of my favorite hobbies.

On a Saturday afternoon you can find me: hiking in the mountains or bird watching at the lake; or I may be experimenting in the kitchen, cooking up my own exotic dishes from ideas I get on the food channel (to the delight or dismay of my family).

My favorite escape: My favorite year-round escape is a good book. My favorite genre is non-fiction, specifically biographies, and particularly foreign cultures. I enjoy browsing the Amazon.com book and movie reviews and tossing in my two cents worth.

TV News Story Highlights Lifetime Products
This past Sunday night, Lifetime Products was featured on Utah's KSL news as part of an in-depth TV story about the business economy in Utah. The story kicked off a week-long series focusing on the economy in Utah. It was an informative story focusing on job growth in Utah and the appeal of Utah for businesses. The story shows an inside look at Lifetime's factory and includes an interview with Lifetime President Richard Hendrickson inside the Lifetime Store. As we shared last month on this blog, Lifetime recently received a tax incentive from the Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) to expand our manufacturing facilities in Utah. During the KSL interview, Hendrickson talks about our products, vertical integration, and our decision to expand in Utah. Specifically Hendrickson said on KSL, "We've got the most capa...
A Size for Everyone -- Go Green with New 50-Gallon Composter
For this post, I want to write about our new Lifetime 50-Gallon Composter. Loyal blog readers (if there are any of them out there) know that Lifetime offers a variety of composters. These composters make being green easy, help provide beautiful gardens, and potentially save the planet. Yep, composters are pretty much modern day superheroes. Well, maybe that is a little extreme, but they are pretty cool. Lifetime has been in the composter manufacturing business for about five years now. I remember when my boss came to me and said he wanted to develop a composter for mass market retail. I have to admit, I thought his brain might have started to compost. I didn't think mass market retail was ready for compost bins. After all, they were only for people who lived completely off the land in rural USA, right? Boy was I wrong... and...
I Love My New Garden Caddy
Gone are the days of having to load up my wheelbarrow or other container with tools from the shed, only to arrive at the spot in my yard I am working on and not have what I need. You know how it isyou end up spending half of your time in the yard going back and forth to the shed to get what you forgot the first time. That is, providing you can find it in the shed. Because if youre like me, you havent organized your tools very well, either. I used to go back and forth, getting the stuff I needed before I was able to get to work. And when I was working I would inevitably set down one tool somewhere to use another, and then forget where I put the first tool. On one occasion, not exaggerating here, I was working with a rake. Two different times after I had laid the rake down, I stepped on it and had it swing up to hit me in the ...
