Table Washing Can Be " Eggstremely" Fun

Happy Easter!  I hope you are enjoying this beautiful, special day.  Yesterday we finally managed to find time to let the kids dye Easter eggs… just in time for the Easter bunny to hide them this morning.    My kids had been begging me to do this for days so I knew they were going to be wound up and over-anxious for the activity.  I wasn't too keen on the thought of dye possibly getting spilled on my kitchen rug.  So, since the weather was absolutely gorgeous, I grabbed my Lifetime Personal Table and egg dyeing supplies and we headed outside where messes are always welcome.

I placed the little cups of dye on the kids' picnic table and I set my Lifetime Personal Table at the lowest height right next to the picnic table to hold the rest of the supplies so the kids would have plenty of room to move around.  They had fun coloring their names on the eggs, adding stickers and rubber bands, and experimenting with color combinations.  But, I think the real fun came AFTER we were done dyeing eggs.  We had more than a few spills, so the tables needed a good washing.  And, since it was sunny and almost  80 degrees, it was a perfect day to don the swimming suits!  Armed with a sponge, a bucket of soapy water and a hose, my  kids eagerly went right to work.  That's what I love about Lifetime tables…simply use a little soap and elbow grease and the mess washes right off, even Easter egg dye!  And, yes, you guessed it, the cleaning quickly turned into an entire afternoon of good old fashioned water fight fun!

Obviously, coloring Easter eggs wasn't anything original.  But, if YOU were more creative and helped your kids make a cute and original Easter or Spring craft, don't forget to enter it in our Favorite Spring Craft contest for your chance to win a Lifetime Craft Table package worth $200!  Entries must be submitted by Thursday, April 8.

Fishing Kayaks for Father's Day
Father's Day is almost here. If youre like me, you are always rushing around trying to figure out what to do for Dad at the last minute. For years I always based my Fathers Day gifts on two things, fish and sports. My dad either gets the latest Jets (dont hold it against him) football team sweatshirt or a nice wooden fish decoration to hang on the wall. Since these were always my dads favorite activities, this always seemed like the best route, until he ran out of wall space for all those wooden fish decorations. Im sure Im not the only one at there who has a dad that loves fishing. I mean loves it. You know, the dad who gets up at 4am so he can get out on the water . The dad who has more fishing rods than pairs of pants. Instead of adding to the shiny collections of rods, or in my case, fish that hang on the wall, why not g...
