Favorite Spring Craft Contest: WIN A Craft Table Package!

This contest has ended!

Surprise!  We just finished our March contest last week, and here we are again already announcing April's contest.  We have a good reason for starting so soon…it's a Spring contest!  Ok, really it's Spring and/or Easter.

This month we're giving prizes to two winners...and that's not an April Fool's Day joke!   So, time to put on your creative hat and show us your own favorite homemade Spring/Easter craft.  It can be any sort of craft…paint it, sew it, stuff it….make it for you, make it for kids…hang it on a door, or put it on your table.  We don't care what type of craft it is, just as long as it's original, creative, and related to Spring and/or Easter.

This contest is reader’s choice. After the entry deadline, we'll let our readers vote for their favorite craft out of all the submissions.  The 1st place winner will win a craft table package valued at $200 which includes: a Lifetime 4' Adjustable Height Table, a Lifetime Personal Table, and 2 Lifetime Folding Chairs!  The 2nd place winner will receive a $25 gift certificate for Lifetime's online store.

This month's contest requires that you have a blog or website.  If you don't have one, unfortunately, you can't enter this month's contest.  BUT, you can vote for your favorite craft!  Be sure to check back on April 9 to view all of the creative entries and vote for your favorite to win.  And, even if you can't enter, we're still giving everyone a discount!  Use coupon code EASTER to save $5 off any purchase at Lifetime’s online store. (Offer ends April 13 at midnight. MST)

How to enter your craft:

  1. Post a picture of your own Spring/Easter craft creation AND step-by-step directions of how to make your craft on your own blog or website.
  2. Mention in your craft directions that you are entering the "Lifetime Products Spring Craft Contest" with a link to this blog post.  (Don’t forget to also tell readers of your blog to be sure to vote for your craft. Voting begins April 9.)
  3. Leave a comment on this Spring Craft Contest blog post with:
  • your name
  • the name of your craft
  • and a link to your own blog post/website showing your craft photo and directions

Deadline to enter is Thursday, April 8 at midnight MST.  All information and steps above must be completed for an entry to be eligible.  Click here for official contest rules.

How to vote:

  • On Friday, April 9 we will post a new blog post listing all of the entries and complete voting instructions.
  • Voting will end Tuesday, April 13 at midnight MST.  Winners will be announced on Wednesday, April 14.
1st place - Lifetime craft table package
    2nd place- $25 www.Buylifetime.com gift certificate

(By participating and submitting your craft, you agree to give Lifetime permission to use your craft and your name on our website in our Tips & Solutions section in the future if we desire. What a great way to show off your creative crafty skills, huh?)

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

You will have a blast making this cute Flip Flop door hanger. Just make sure you dont get paint on your Lifetime table while making it! But if you do, I have always found that a "Magic Eraser" works wonders on my Lifetime tables.

Spring Break in Port Aransas
Deep breath. Looong slow exhale. Ok, I think Im mentally ready to unwind from my spring break vacation and start writing. As much as my parents deny it, theyre becoming Ohio snowbirds. For the past two years theyve packed their mini van full and moved to Texas for the month of March. They rent a condo right on the beach in Port Aransas on Mustang Island. I am very blessed that they choose to come to Texas rather than Florida so they can spend quality time with me. Ok, who am I kidding, we all know its for the quality time with my kids, not me! :) So, last week we headed to Port Aransas for spring break week to visit my parents. Spring break at Port Aransas is well, different. I did the whole spring break trip to South Padre Island back in my college days. It was pretty much what you see when watching MTVs Spring Break showh...

Controlling Moisture While Composting
In most of the United States composting season is almost over -- or is it?Believeit or not, composting season just started! Just started you say? Yes! Okay, what do I mean by that? Well, think about it... the gardening season is winding down in my neck of the woods. All I've got left are cold-weather crops, and some unharvested potatoes, carrots, and red beets. We'll come back to those in a little bit. All the other plants -- the tomatoes, the potatoes, the herbs -- have wilted with the frost. There's a lot of dead material to compost as you clean out your garden and prepare it for winter. That's why I say it's just the beginning of the composting season -- but there's a catch and a few things to look out for. Composting, as you well know, takes a certain amount of heat. Winter, as you also know, is relatively cold -- there...
