Congrats March Contest Winner!

Congrats March Contest Winner!

It's March…and in honor of the NCAA Basketball Tournament and St. Patrick's Day, last we week had some madness of our own on www.lifetime.com. We hid 5 shamrocks on our website that revealed a secret code to win a 50" portable basketball system for our March monthly contest

Thanks to everyone who entered. We hope you had fun searching for the shamrocks. I'm happy to say congratulations to our lucky random winner:

Bill B. of Hoschton, GA!

So what was the secret code?  SAVE$10.  Don't forget, even if you didn’t win, you can still use the code SAVE$10 to save $10 off any purchase over $20 at www.buylifetime.com through March 28.

And, you can also visit MomCentral for a chance to win a Lifetime Youth Basketball Hoop, valued at $110!  Simply leave a comment on the MomCentral blog by Sunday, March 28 and they'll pick one lucky person to win!

Keep checking our blog and following us on Twitter and Facebook because our April contest will be starting in just a few more days.  Get ready, I think our crafty fans will like this one a lot!

Labor Day Fun
I always look forward to Labor Day with such mixed emotions. Naturally, I love having the three-day weekend and having my hubby home for an extra day of fun or to-do projects. But, it also means summer is officially over.:( My son, Nathan, started preschool today so we wanted to spend our Labor Day weekend enjoying the last remaining hours of summer freedom. We took the kids swimming one day and we also took them to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. So much fun! Nathan was tall enough to ride a few of the adult roller coasters this year so that made it even more exciting for all of us. (Wow, there is nothing more heartwarming than watching your child grin literally ear-to-ear all day long from having such genuine fun and thrills!) But, just like my last post, our adventure started off with Lifetime! Its everywhere! To enter Six Fla...
Lifetime Brands
Earlier this year, we bought a GMC Acadia. I LOVE it! It was the first crossover SUV of its kind and now several other automakers have followed suit. The Acadia is an SUV on the outside with the seating configuration of a mini-van on the inside. Perfect for those of us who like the idea of a mini-van, but not all the psychological baggage that comes along with them! Over the past few months, as friends see our vehicle they will often say comments like, This reminds me a lot of a Saturn Outlook. Or, Is this like a Saturn Outlook? Well, you know why? They are the same car! GMowns both the GMC andSaturn brand and, consequently, the Acadia and Outlook bascially come off the same production line. (And, the Buick Enclave too!). For various marketing and sales strategies, companies often make the same product with slight variations...
Tetherball poles, new at BuyLifetime
Since the very beginning, Lifetime Products has been in the basketball business. Theyve made strong, durable poles, backboards, and rims, and innovated the adjustable height mechanism which brought basketball younger kids. Following in this tradition, Lifetime Products introduces the Lifetime Tetherball system! Many of you grown-ups out there probably remember the deluxe tetherball pole from your school-yard, and the heated competitive tetherball contests that would ensue during recess. With the Lifetime Tetherball system, now you can bring those childhood memories into your backyard so a whole new generation of tetherballers to enjoy! Whether its Tether Ball, Tetherball Sets, or Tetherball Pole, Tetherball is a great traditional outdoor game, and fun for all ages.
