Name- Jan

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

Back When I Was A Kid...
Well, like I mentioned a few posts ago, I just got back from visiting my parents in Ohio. I love visiting Ohio in the summerits soooo pretty with all the green grass and trees everywhere. Never been to Ohio? Just check out the picture I took of my parents backyardseeing is believing! Anyway, the real reason I snapped this photo is because it shows my parents Lifetime 4-person picnic tablein such a picturesque setting. I gave the table to my Dad about five years ago for Fathers Day, I think. My parents love it! (Ahhh, for once I found the perfect gift!) Its the ideal size to provide a little eating area/seating by their pond and it requires no maintenance. In the winter, Dad can easily just fold it up and hang it on the wall down in the barn. As I slid the Lifetime picnic table under the shade tree one day for the kids to ...
A Lifetime Social Room
When I was visiting my parents at their condo in Port Aransas last week, I happened to snap a picture of the condo building's social room. It's not that it was super attractive or decorated beautifully (or even decorated at all!) but, it was filled with nothing but Lifetime tables and chairs! Yep, that was it. Four plain walls, seven Lifetime 6' banquet tables, and numerous Lifetime chairs. The tables and chairs are used every Monday morning when the residents gather to eat breakfast, and at various other times for potlucks, game nights, etc. Many residents also borrow the Lifetime chairs to use in their own condos. My Mom borrowed two so she could have extra seating at the dining table since it only came with four chairs. And, she also used the Lifetime chairs at her sewing table. The Lifetime tables and chairs were an ine...
Another Lifetime Composter Survives a Bear Attack!
Here's the deal. We're always telling you how tough our products are. Sometimes we use fancy industry lingo like "double-wall high density polyethylene panels" or "exceeds BIFMA standards". I'll be the first to admit, that can get more than a little boring -- even for me. It's much more interesting and believable to hear real customer experiences. Know what? We get tired of doing all the talking so we love hearing your stories about our products. In fact, even we've been amazed with some of the recent "tough" stories our customers have shared with us.Just this week, Michelle and Wayne T. of Granby, MA shared some fantastic photos of their Lifetime 65-Gallon Composter that survived a bear attack! Yes, I said BEAR. Yikes! "My wife and I recently purchased one of your compost tumblers. After about 2 weeks we woke up to find th...
