Congrats February Contest Winner!

Happy Valentine's Day!  This past week we held a special Valentine's Day contest to win a PINK kids' picnic table.  And, I'm happy to say congratulations to

JaNiel P. (JPark), Logan, UT

JaNiel was choosen randomly from the qualifying entries and plans to have her kids use their new picnic table at their local farmers' market to sell homegrown fruits and vegetables.

Thanks to everyone who entered!  If you're looking for Valentine's Day traditions to do with your kids, be sure to read the comments people shared.  There are some really cute and unique ideas.  Oh, can you guess the #1 Valentine's tradition our contest entrants like to do with their children?  Make heart-shaped sugar cookies, followed closely by making handmade Valentine cards!

Don't forget, even if you didn’t win, you can still use the coupon code PINK until Feb. 18 for 10% off any purchase at www.buylifetime.com, including purchasing your own pink kids' picnic table! (BTW, it's also available in almond color, too.)

And, keep checking back and following us on Twitter and Facebook because we'll be hosting another contest in March.  (Pssst, the next product giveaway will be related to a big event that takes place during almost the entire month of March!)

Scrapbooks With A Click Of A Mouse
We headed up to Dallas this past weekend to visit my in-laws. My sister-in-law is a Director and Consultant for Creative Memories, a scrapbooking company. Personally, Ive always been anti-scrapbooking because I detest never-ending projects! Im a person that likes to see the fruits of my labor and I want to be able to relish in the feeling of accomplishment and productivity when I see a project completed. Plus, Im way too anal retentiveI hate cutting and gluing my pictures, I feel like Im ruining them. I also loathe messes so Id spend way more time cleaning up and organizing my supplies than working on my scrapbook! But, there is a new scrapbooking fad that is a little more up my allydigital scrapbooks! No fancy-schmancy paper, no glue or embellishments, no cutting pictures required. Apparently, its all the rage. My sister-in...
Santa's Secret Shed
Shhhhhh. Don't tell my kids. The other day I talked with Santa at the mall and he informed me he is bringing my little girl a play kitchen. I'm so excited, she's going to love it! However, Santa was a bit concerned because the box is so big. He was worried that with such a big box he may not be able to fit everything in his sleigh on Christmas Eve. So, he asked if there was any possible way he could deliver the present early and hide it at our house until Christmas Eve when he'll put it under the tree. Yikes! At first I thought there was no possible way I'd be able to hide a present that large at our house. WAIT! Ding, ding! I just remembered the new Lifetime shed that we built in our backyard. It'san8'x5' shedso it has plenty of room to hide a play kitchen box. However, my son does likes to play in there sometimes and pret...
