Lifetime's New Year's Resolution: Monthly Contests and Giveaways!

Happy 2010!  I hope you had a fun and relaxing holiday season.  Now, it's time to face those infamous New Year's Resolutions.  According to CNNhealth.com, about 100 million Americans make New Year's resolutions with their top goals being: save money, lose weight, and develop healthy habits.

Well, here at Lifetime Products, we've made a few New Year's Resolutions of our own.  And, good news -  our New Year's Resolutions are going to help YOU meet those most popular resolutions!

So…drum roll please…. starting in February 2010, we are making a resolution to host monthly - yes, I said monthly - contests so you can win FREE products from Lifetime!  We'll be announcing the contests and details right here on this blog.  The ways to enter will vary each contest, but will involve either our blog, Twitter, and/or Facebook.  And, it gets even better!  We're also going to be partnering with other popular sites and blogs to sponsor monthly giveaways!  That's two chances to win free Lifetime products every month!

Free products will help you save money, so I guess we've helped check the #1 resolution off the list.  Now, what about #2 and #3?  Well, what's one of the key factors to losing weight and developing healthy habits?  Yep, exercise!  So, you can bet we'll be giving away some of our basketball hoops and tetherball systems (in addition to our other products like folding tables and chairs, of course) to help you and your family get out there and get active in 2010.

So, stayed tuned for our for first contest announcement in February.  And be sure to follow us on Facebook (www.facebook.com/lifetimeproducts) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/lifetime365)  so you can be one of the first to enter our monthly contests!

What I do for a living- First and foremost, I'm a doting mommy of a second grader and a 4-year-old, and a proud wife of a USAF F-16 fighter pilot!  In my pre-children life, I was the Communications Manager for Lifetime Products.  But, once you're a Lifetime fan, you're hooked!  So, after a few years of hiatus, I'm now a WAHM and am happily back on board at Lifetime as a freelance PR Consultant.  In addition to blogging for Lifetime, you can follow and chat with me on Lifetime's Twitter account @Lifetime365 and on the Lifetime Products Facebook page!

Topics I blog about- How I use Lifetime products in my everyday life at home, for kids parties and community activities, as well as inspiring stories... and GIVEAWAYS!  :)

My favorite products from Lifetime- 4x2 Table, 30” Personal Table, Chair, Youth Kayak, and Wheelbarrow.  Although, our Shed and Yard Cart are pretty close favorites, too!

How to Make A Waterproof Banner in Minutes
Sometimes I just amaze myself with how stinkin creative I am! Just kidding. But, I must say though, I am pretty tickled with the clever idea I came up with last week. Our neighborhood was having a community garage sale, and two days before the sale, the HOA president agreed with my suggestion to hang a banner on the fence at the entrance of the subdivision to help advertise the sale. We are located right behind a school so lots of parents turn around in our subdivision to drop-off/pick-up their children. So, we wanted the banner to be out on Thursday and Friday to catch the school traffic. Since I was the one to suggest a banner, I felt obligated to volunteer to check on banner pricing. Unfortunately, a one-day turnaround was not going to work in our favor, unless we wanted to pay through the nose. ...which we didnt want to ...
Lifetime Employees Build New Hiking Trail
Last Saturday, September 10, 430 of my fellow co-workers and I spent three hours constructing a brand new walking and biking trail in Ogden City, Utah for Lifetimes 6th Annual Local Community Service Project. Each year, Lifetime employees work off the clock and donate their time with our group community service project, earning credit toward Lifetimes bi-annual employee benefit program that gives a percentage of the companys profits to each employee. Since Lifetime is celebrating its 25th corporate anniversary, this year we are increasing our efforts and actually undertaking four separate beautification projects on two separate days. This past Saturdays trail building was our first project and the second project will be held this Saturday, September 17, and will include clean-up of two parks and cemetery beautification in W...

If youre anything like me, then Im sure by now youre all spending these days fidgeting at work, eager to get home so you can don that familiar jersey and find your lucky spot on the sofa, just to ensure your team has all the superstitious advantage it can get. Thats right folks, its March Madness! Better stock the pantry, dust the television and ready your home for guests, because its the tournament weve all been waiting for.
